1 year later,

It's been a year since the separation of Krrish and Ruhi has happened. Ruhi went to America to pursue her medical career lying to Krrish that she was going to Bangalore. This year has been spent with their occasional breakdown and their own respective works. They call each other frequently ,text messages and video calls are also the medium of staying contact with each other.Ruhi has already told Krrish about her coming to California instead of Bangalore on which Krrish totally has agreed and acted normal like always as he wishes for her having a great future. Ruhi has also cleared him about his uncertainty of divorce that she is not going to give divorce to him. It was enough for a huge burden to leave from his mind which he was carrying for long time. With the passing of times, Ruhi is forwarding in her goals whereas Krrish is too consumed with his own job. Works definitely help both of them a lot to forget about the their tragical life and to keep going with the flow.

It was day like usual when Ruhi and Siya both went to their Medical College. The day almost passed in blink of eye with the regular schedule like always. Ruhi and her team have been braught under a new head surgeon who happened to be new member in their medical College. She had come to know that the new surgeon was from India, Dr.Abhishek Seth. As a new trainer, he just introduced himself to everyone and communicated with them in such a nice way which has definitely snatched the attention of Ruhi. Not any feelings or something, it's just that she has thought him to be a good person at heart. She somehow finds him quiet fun-loving and amazing person unlike her previous head who happened to be short-tempered and used to scold in every small mistakes.

Siya and Ruhi both planned to walk as Siya's car was at garage for repairing.While going back to the apartment, Siya suddenly stopped on her pavement remembering about her date with her newly found boyfriend who was supposed to be Canadian. She immediately asked for permission of going from Ruhi who seemed to be convinced and assured her that she would reach in time. Siya half-heartedly nodded and left from there feeling guilty of ditching her best friend in the middle road.

No matter what, the streets of Los angles are so quiet, pollution free and clean unlike Mumbai's busy roads. But one problem still stays that the temperature gets low with the times after sunset. Ruhi hugged herself holding her sweatshirt tightly around her body securing her head with the scarf around her neck. She felt herself trembling in the cold as she rubbed her palms to get some physical warmth. All of a sudden, a car came to stand beside the pavement where she was walking through.Ruhi looked up to see the car when the window slowly opened to reveal Dr. Abhsihek looking at her with concern. She felt little nervous and awkward as he was her head.Abhishek passed a smile in her direction getting out of the car and halted infront of her.

"Ruhi, am I right ?" He asked scratching his neck. She nodded in reply as she was feeling extremely awkward.

"Well, I am Dr. Abhishek..." He was cut off by her.

"Seth, our new head surgeon." She smiled lightly at him when he too grinned.

"Indian, right ?" He asked when she again nodded.
