♧42- IN TRIAL ROOM♧

RUHI

I stood there frozen when his lips pressed over mine lightly. My senses went numb as I couldn't react anything either. My feelings and emotions were working differently towards him as I hurt him deeply. It was sympathy or pity which I was feeling towards him. Probably that was the reason I wasn't understanding how to react. I looked at him through my lashes when his eyes opened and he immediately jerked off me to break the kiss standing a quite distance away from me. His eyes almost bulged out of his eyes when he realized what he had done. I observed how his eyes scanned my face with horrible expression. I was also standing blank getting no words to speak. His expression changed into remorse when he looked at me with tension and pleading eyes.

"Ruhi, it...was..a ..mis..take. I..I...I am..so sorry...yyy" He shuttered while saying it.

"Oh my God, how can I be so awful ? Shame on me."

"It's so wrong "

"I am being pathetic."

He started blabbering and cursing himself for doing such things. He came forward bowing his head down infront of me.

"Ruhi, I don't know if u will forgive me or not. I know that I deserve your hatred now. It's so silly of me to kiss someone else like that. " He paused to look at me when I stood there awkwardly staring at him. I know that he is not like that but still my mind is kind of feeling different to accept his apology easily.

"Ruhi, I request u to believe me. I really didn't mean that. It just somehow happened, I don't know even. I just got distracted by so much overflowing emotions that I ended up kissing you. I am so sorry. Plz, forgive me. I won't do anything like that. I promise it, Ruhi. Just don't break our friendship. I promise that it won't happen."

He took my hands in his and looked at me pleasingly that's when I realized how much he was regretting now as his eyes were glistening with drop of tears. My heart ached to see him like that but my mind was not ready to accept him as friend again.

"Plz Ruhi. " He whispered for the last time holding my hands when I realized that our elevator had already opened. I soon separated my hands from him and got relieved to see that there was none watching us. I immediately left from there without glancing towards him when I heard him calling my name again and again. But I didn't stop and went away. Yeah, I have no answer now to give him as I am too stupefied to speak anything. The day passed by while I totally ignored him not daring to say anything when he tried again and again conversing with me.

"How was your day ?" Krrish asked when I settled on the passenger seat after closing the door of our car.

I will tell him everything whatever has happened today but not now. I don't want to cheat on him. I will tell at any cost and after that however he reacts ,I won't mind. I will explain him everything but it will happen when the proper time will come.
