After a long climb, Dream and Hook landed at the bottom of the beanstalk. Hook touched the ground with his boots first before helping Dream down. He looked down, checking her hand for any wounds, seeing as she was not the best climber.

"I think my hands are fine... Seeing as your scarf still covered the first scratch." Dream chuckled, looking up at him, when Hook smiled, looking into her eyes.

"Just making sure, love." He smiled when they seemed to freeze at that moment. He kept looking into her eyes, moving slightly to look at her lips, while Dream just stared into his memorizing blue eyes.

It was like they were frozen in time as if nothing else mattered.

"I think we should--" Dream went to say, finally breaking the silence, but she was interrupted.

"My dear Captain..."

Hook scoffed to himself when Dream looked behind him, seeing Cora with a black umbrella as it was raining, like in a twisted Nicholas Sparks book.

"...it seems you've been on quite an adventure. And with my dear granddaughter." Cora said as Hook looked at Dream, who looked frightened at Cora's presence. "The compass, please." She demanded, holding her hand out, making Hook turn to look at her, keeping Dream behind him.

"Yes, that... Well, matters grew complicated. It's eluded me for the moment. The details of the affair are a bit of a bore." Hook vaguely said when Cora smirked at him, noticing how he was hiding Dream behind him. As though he grew a soft spot in his villain's heart for Dream.

"Really? Stealing my protection spell and climbing the beanstalk without me might seem like a bore to you, but to me, it's a betrayal." Cora said as she moved her gaze to Dream. "And tricking my poor granddaughter into thinking your actions are honorable... My dear, the pirate is just trying to trick you into getting him a ticket to his revenge." Cora said when Dream looked between them.

"I was gonna bring it to you. Our agreement remains. We are going to Storybrooke together, with your granddaughter as promised. I'll get it back." Hook said, making Dream scoff, backing up.

"You did lie... You both are--" Dream went to fight, but Cora scoffed, waving her hand, making Dream fall asleep, while Hook moved to catch her so she wouldn't hit her head on the ground.

"I don't have time for your games. I've crossed through too many worlds to be brought short at the brink of success." Cora said to Hook while he moved to lay Dream down on the ground. "Who was it who bested you?" Cora asked when the pirate stood up.

"The Swan girl, Emma. Rest assured, it won't happen again." Hook sighed, making Cora snicker at his remark.

"No, it won't," Cora smirked, agreeing with him. "You chose her..." She continued, looking at her unconscious granddaughter. "And the consequences of that decision," Cora said, making Hook scoff at her threat.

"Oh... Are you gonna kill me now? Go ahead, try. Because unlike you, I have gained the one person's trust that you need." Hook said while Cora's smile did not falter. "So brave. No, I'm not going to kill you. I have something far more satisfying in mind. I'm going to leave you here. With your thirst for revenge unquenched while I complete our journey without you." Cora continued to threaten, making Hook sigh.

"There's no need to be rash." He smiled, hoping that his charm would change her mind. "We can discuss this." Hook said, stepping closer to Cora.

"Your pretty face buys you a lot, but not my time. It's too valuable."

"I can do this. I can get it back. You need me." Hook continued to plead, making Cora chuckle at his empty threats and promises.

"No, I don't..." Cora chuckled, finally moving, when she walked over to her granddaughter, kneeling down to move the hair from Dream's face. "You've had your chance. Now, it's my turn to do this the right way." Cora said, standing back up to look at Hook.

Hook scoffed, changing forward to Cora, but Cora used her magic to make her disappear in a purple cloud of smoke with Dream. Hook landed on the ground when he saw that they were both gone.
