(6 months left) (February)

One month later, Lissa still hadn't carried on with the List. Only ever occupying herself with her cellphone, constantly on Instagram waiting for Jace to post something new so that she could respond to it or repost it.

Last she heard from him, he had signed a contract stating how he should be more active on social media by posting more pictures of behind-the-scenes shots, him being friendly with the models...things like that. And his last post was of him, shooting Gigi Hadid for the March cover of Vogue magazine. If it was possible to like a picture more than once, Lissa would have done that a hundred times over.

The last time they chatted, Jace had just finished shooting Gigi Hadid, and that was about two weeks ago.

Just when she was about to log out, a new Jace_Daniels uploaded to his story notification popped up. Hurriedly she opened the story, impatiently waiting for the post to load. Why did the WiFi have to be so slow today? When it finally opened, she found herself grinning widely at the post.

Modeling with the guuurls

It read, with Jace and a few other girls modeling on the catwalk. He had tagged all three guuurls in the video. Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner. Lissa immediately responded to the story,

How are you suddenly best friends with the Hadid sisters and Kendall, guuurl?

She typed with a laughing emoji at the end. Biting her thumbnail, she waited for his response. Her phone vibrated in her hands. It was another GIF. Him and all the guuurls, transitioning from a pout to a toothy grin.

Meet the besties. Was the text he sent after that. Lissa sent another laughing face emoji as a response.

Can I video call you? I have a few minutes of free time.

Lissa frantically ran to the bathroom to tame the wild mess on top of her head she calls her hair, then ran back to answer Jace,

Sure.

A millisecond later, a video call came through. Lissa pressed accept and smiled when an excited Jace and his guuurls showed up on her screen.

"Hey, Lissa." Jace waved at her.

"Hi there." she waved back, ten times more excited to see him than he was to see her.

"How are you doing?" Jace asked attempting to strike a conversation.

"I'm good," lie, "and you?" she asked.

"I'm okay," not a lie, "hey--ow! I was about to," he play-shouted Gigi for pinching his side, "Lissa, some guuurls over here are very excited to meet you. Gigi, Kendall, Bella, meet Melissa." he introduced.

"Hey." greeted Gigi.

"Wassup." then Bella.

"How you doin'?" and finally Kendall.

"Hey girls,"

"Oh shoot! We gotta go, Jace. It's time to start clicking and posing again. Bye Melissa." Gigi stated hurriedly, the other two said bye after her, then Jace as well - after telling her to have fun with the last thing on the List.

Of course, he didn't know that there were still two more things left instead of one.

(5 months left) (March)

"I wish Jace were here. This just isn't the same," she spoke sadly to herself.
