"It's almost your birthday Dabi, are you excited!?" Toga asks, bounding up to him in the hallway of the school.

"No." Dabi says. "It's just another year alone. And besides, next year will be my coming of age. No point in getting excited about this."

"Come on!" Toga exclaims. "Maybe we can get some heroes to take us somewhere? To stargaze or something?"

"I said no." Dabi continues walking down the hallway and Toga continues nagging him about his birthday. Katsuki and Shigaraki walk behind the two, both uninterested in the conversation.

"Oh come on Dabi!" Toga groans. "Please? It'll be fun! Even if the heroes don't let us leave, we can celebrate it at the dorms. Just the four of us! Katsuki can bake the cake," To that, Katsuki looks up from his book. "Shiga can provide the games," Shigaraki looks up from his Switch, "and I can provide the lovely singing!"

"Pfft." Dabi rolls his eyes and turns around to look at Toga, as he had walked ahead of them. "You can sing? Seriously?"

"Why yes, I can!" She says proudly, stopping in her place and setting her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, sure." Dabi rolls his eyes and turns back around. "Good luck with that."

As he turns the corner, he runs straight into a wall. He falls back, holding his head.

"Dabi! Are you okay?" Shigaraki asks.

"Shit." Katsuki and Toga say in unison, seeing who Dabi had run into.

Dabi looks up and sees a pair of feet.

Okay, not a wall.

He mentally notes. His eyes trail up the body of the person he had run into.

"Mr. Number one hero, sir!" Toga rushes between Dabi, who still sat on the ground, and Endeavour, who was glaring at the four teenagers. "It's truly an honor to meet you Endeavour."

"What are you four doing walking around alone?" He asks, his flames burning fiercer. "While others are having lunch or are in class?"

"Mr. Aizawa asked if we could come to the Principals office!" Toga says, mocking a salute. "And we are."

"That's Erasurehead to you, villain." Endeavour says. His voice sounds more angered now and he takes a step forward. "Now tell me, what you're really doing out here? All four of you? Alone?"

"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" Before Shigaraki can stop him, Dabi is standing between Toga and Endeavour. He glares up at the man.

"So you're Dabi?" Endeavour asks.

"Yes." Dabi says. "And don't talk to her like that you bastard."

"You don't talk to me like that." Endeavour takes another step forward. He towers over Dabi, who holds his breath in a desperate attempt to not have a panic attack. However, holding his breath only makes it worse. "I'm a hero. The number one hero. You're nothing but a villain."

"Yes sir." Dabi hangs his head. He doesn't answer too quickly, but he makes sure not to answer too slowly, or it might anger the man further.

"So you do have manners." Endeavour notes. "Good." He looks at the rest of them and then back at Dabi. "Since you're obviously the only one here with manners, tell me. What were you four doing walking around the halls alone?"

"Toga was telling the truth. Mr. Ai- um... Erasurehead told us to come to the Principals office. We weren't running, I promise." Dabi says, his voice shaking.
