"Spill," Nat said.
"No," Annabeth said.
"Why can't you spill?"
"Why can't you accept we can't tell you," Percy said.
"What's your parents going to do if they do know? Kill you," Loki asked.
Percy shrugged. "My uncle might. He has been wanting to kill me since I was twelve."
"Oh yes, I heard stories of your uncle and him trying to kill you. You talked yourself out of that one. Plus your uncle can't kill you without starting a war with your father," Loki continued.
"What do you want Loki," Annabeth asked suddenly.
Loki looked taken a back. "Excuse me," he asked.
"Why are you suddenly helping?"
"I am hurt. I am a really helpful person."
"Helpful and Loki don't go in the same sentence. It more likely that reindeer games will play with a knife all the way into someone's back," Tony said.
"I would never do that," Loki said.
"Lies," Tony said.
"I would never do that again," Loki said.
"Another lie," Annabeth said.
"Tough break," Percy said.
Loki sighed and pouted and sulked at the same time. He looked like a kicked puppy. "I just wanted to help."
"You skillfully avoided the question while acting like a victim," Annabeth said. She was studying Loki closely.
Loki looked a little shocked for half a second. The expression quickly disappeared like it was never there. "I don't know what you are saying. Isn't enough that you called me a liar. I think you are the one who wants to stab me in the back."
"That right there is gas lighting," Annabeth said. Annabeth was smirking like an owl who caught its prey. "You just tried to turn the situation around again making you the victim."
"You are not bad at interrogating," Natasha complimented, Annabeth.
Annabeth smiled at Natasha. Loki didn't say anything. He probably knew that Annabeth was going to nail his shoes to the floor if he spoke again.
Percy smiled and kissed Annabeth on the cheek.
"Awe," Tony said.
Percy and Annabeth rolled their eyes. Would Tony ever mature?
"Oh look, Steve and Clint arrived," Percy said.
They turned their attention to the upcoming motor cycles that approached.
"Finally," Tony said. They both were getting off the motorcycle. "Was gramps slowing you down with his speed limit," Tony continued.
Steve made a face at Tony. "I will have you know I crashed a bike into enemy soldiers."
"Children stop arguing," Natasha said.
"Awe, I didn't get to fight," Clint whined.
Natasha gave Clint a look that him not talking.
"What happened here," Steve asked. He was examining the Popsicle of Loki 2.0.
"Popsicle meet Popsicle," Tony said.
"Would you stop acting so immature," Steve asked.
Tony just stuck out his tongue.
"Great, we are stuck with a child," Steve said.
"Ugh, I hate your voice."
"I guess you boys didn't make any progress with the therapy session," Natasha said.
"Nope, none at all. I still can't believe he didn't tell me about Bucky." Tony looked visibly upset. He had scrunched up face and some of his wrinkles around his eyes started to show. He looked like he had aged a little since a while ago.
"What was I supposed to do? Bucky is my best friend," Steve said.
"I thought I was your friend. I guess we were never on the same team," Tony said. Tony turned away looking like he had the world on the shoulders. "Percy it looks like it's melting. Come refreeze her."
Percy walked over and grabbed water from the sea and created an even bigger glob of ice around her.
"This is new," Steve said.
"What the heck he has powers?!" Clint looked at Percy. "Are you a mutant? Did you have any experimenting done on you? Or are you an alien or part alien?"
Annabeth rolled her eyes. "He is not obligated to answer your questions. And we have to go."
"Go," Natasha asked.
"Yes, we have to deal with something. You can handle Loki 2.0 right?"
"No, we can't if she breaks out," Natasha said, honestly.
"But you have someone almost on the way to pick her up right," Annabeth asked.
"Yes, but..."
They disappeared into mist. All of them were left staring at the spot where they just disappeared. "What just happened," Tony asked.
"I don't know, but woah," Clint said.
"Guess the kid is more of a potential threat than initially evaluated," Natasha said. "Of course he is a threat. He is my nephew." There was a hint of pride in those words.
Steve turned to Loki and Thor. "Do you guys know..."
"We can't say. Don't ask us any questions," Thor said.
"Thor you are really starting to annoy me," Tony said.
Thor shrugged, but didn't look sorry. "We don't need opinions from you mortals."
Tony sighed. "I can tell you two are brothers. He isn't the only one that refers to us as mortals."
"We can't help that you are puny," Loki said.
"Do I need to remind you how hulk smashed you against the floor when you tried to take over the world," Steve asked.
"I respect hulk, the beast, you all are a different stories," Loki said. A smirk placed on his lip.
"Loki," Thor groaned. "Stop talking."
"I was defending you brother. Is this the kind of thanks I get when I try to help you."
"We are not getting answers," Natasha murmured to the mortal group. She was careful to keep her voice low so those who she wanted to here heard. "We will find ways to get answers about my nephew later."
They all nodded, and waited for the agents to come and pick up Loki 2.0.
