Forgotten Memories

Chapter 1

Thanos sat upon his space ship.  He had a purple face, and was gigantic.  Deep lines marked his chin making him looked like a squished grape.  He was looking for the infinity stones. His eyes were scanning.  Finally he found a lead.  Finally he would be able to find the first one.  From then on it would be a piece of cake.  A grin split his face as he thought about gaining the stones. He would get the stones, and he would succeed. He had been patient, but now it was almost time to shine.

The olympians called forth Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Thalia, Piper, Nico, Frank, and Leo.

They all stood dazed as they were zapped in by an invisible force.  Percy looked around confused.  Annabeth looked straight at her mom, an eyebrow raised.  Nico looked over probably looking for Will, but he wasn't there.  They were all looking at something until there was a fake cough.

They looked to the council. "We have an urgent mission."

Of course they did. Always another mission with them.

"We have been monitoring a minor Titan named Thanos. He has been looking for the infinity stones. Now of course we usually don't interfere, but we don't even want Thanos getting one. So we are giving you guys bombs to blow up his space ship. Once Leo puts them in place we will zap you guys out."

"Wouldn't that make us terrorists," Percy asked.

There was some scoffing. "No, we are merely taking the tactics of someone who creates terror."

"So..." Percy started.

They were zapped out of the room. Leo held something in his hand. He looked up with eyes wide. "Dude, I have never worked with alien material."

Annabeth looked around. "This seems like an engine room. Hurry up and try to figure it out. I don't know how long we are going to be here."

"Does this count as terroism?  Cause I have been labeled as a terrorist before, but now it might be true."  

"Percy focus," Annabeth said.  

Percy shook his head and then nodded.  "Okay, so what is the plan."

"The plan is that we try not to attract the aliens to us.   Also protect Leo.  This should be an in and out thing.  So no one make too much noise." 

"What if we sounded an alarm," Piper asked. 

"I want Frank to create a distraction with his animal form.  Act like you snuck into the ship or something.  All of us hide in the corner.  We can sneak out behind if they come around the corner distracted by Frank," Annabeth said. 

"I think I figured it out," Leo exclaimed.  "It's going to take three minutes to put this in."

"Shh," Nico said.

All of them took positions at all the possible entrances.  Frank stood waiting for anything to happen.  The only noise in the room was also working on the bomb. 

There was some scuffling and Frank got into position by the entrance that made noise.  He turned into a bird. 

When someone entered the room Frank's chirping was heard.  Frank flutter around.   "Oh it is just a bird.   When we stopped by a planet it must have come...."

Nico sprung out of the shadows.  Thalia joined and then they moved swiftly and incapacitated them.  The cousins looked at each other and smiled.

They tied them up and to the side.  They were not killer.  Yes, they killed monsters in battle and people, but if they didn't have to they would not kill.

Percy was jumping up and down.  He couldn't control it.  His fighting skills were triggered.  Frank took position down in the middle of the group.  They heard more footsteps.  This time from all around.  

Leo's fingers were moving fast across.  "I don't think I can distract them," Frank said.  

"Percy are there liquid in those pipes that are on the walls," Annabeth asked.

"Done," Leo said.  

As soon as he said those words they were zapped back into the council's room.   "We are exploding the ship now," Zeus said.  "You kids are dismissed."

The kids walked back all the way to the elevator and headed down.   "So what were you guys doing before this?"

"I was with the hunt," Thalia said.

"We were at camp," Leo said.  He gestured to himself, Nico, Piper, and Frank.  

"We were at Annabeth's house.  We were planning to go to camp right after.  The avengers are chasing us again."

"Cool, so we grab your stuff from Annabeth's and head to camp."

"Sounds like a plan."

"We are probably attracting a lot of monsters right now," Thalia said. 

On cue a monster came.  Immediately they went to work to take it down.

Natasha stood in front of the door of Sally's apartment.  She knocked.  A few seconds past before Sally came into view.   She smiled at Natasha.  "Hey Natasha."

Natasha's eyes slightly twitched, but she kept a perfect mask.  "Hello."

"Are you here to see Percy?"

"Yes," Natasha said.

"Well, he isn't here. You know how he is. He said something about being away on a mission. I haven't see you guys hanging out recently. How have you been doing?"

Natasha smiled, putting on her polite mask. Apparently she used to be close to her nephew, and she didn't even know it.

"Well when can we expect him to be back?"

"You should know by now that with him we can never tell."

"Yeah of course."

"You are acting really weird. How about I make you some blue cookies and we can talk?" Sally gave her a quick hug. Natasha had wrapped her arms around her an released.

Natasha smiled as Sally let her in. As soon as she was out of sight she took out the phone she stolen when she hugged Sally. Luckily there was no code. She looked at the photos and saw her and her nephew Percy smiling and eating an ice cream together. Natasha sent herself a quick text selecting on the photos, and then erased the messages. She would look at them later. For now, she needed to investigate.

If Percy and her had been close, that explained the feeling around her chest, but the question was why couldn't she remember. Also Sally mentioned Percy being on another "mission." Natasha knew she wouldn't have allowed a kid to go on mission, but Sally was saying something different. Things were not adding up and she needed answers.
