Forgotten Memories

Chapter 17

"How do they know about the organization that kidnapped Loki," Tony asked.

"They have secrets.   We need to find them," Natasha said.  

"Already got that covered.  When I trapped Percy with my suit one of the mechanisms broke up to put a small tracker on his suit," Tony said.

Natasha grinned.   "Guess that means we should call some avengers to our aid."

Tony smiled to and pressed the dial button.   Things were about to get a lot more interesting.

"No Percy, we can't allow them to come with us.   We put it to a vote."

Percy grumbled but nodded.    "Fine get the metal back to Leo.  I am going to scout out the place away from camp that we are going to break through.  Make sure there is no one there.  We can't let the spike of energy be near camp."

Percy transferred the boy on his Pegasus to Annabeth's Pegasus .   "Don't be a seaweed brain," Annabeth said.  

Percy nodded.   They moved away and started heading in a new direction.  There was silence except for the wind cutting through his hair for about 13 seconds.  

"Hey boss, we should stop at a donut shop on the way," Blackjack said.

Percy looked down at the city.

"Sure let's go," Percy said.

Blackjack cheered.

"Just one donut blackjack, and we are out of here," Percy said.

"Yeah just one dozen donuts," he neighed back.

Percy laughed at blackjack comment. "Can't, you still have to fly me over to the other place. That many donuts might make you sick."

Percy got off and grabbed some change from his pocket entering the shop. The lady in the front smiled at Percy.

Percy smiled back. "Can I get a donut," Percy asked. He pointed to the glass case they had in front.

"You can get a dozen donuts," the lady said, flirtatiously.

Percy looked confused. Was she talking to blackjack? That's weird. "No thanks just the one please. Got to keep in shape," Percy said, still smiling.

The woman looked him up and down before giving him his donut in a bag. She also gave him a napkin. Deja vu ran in his mind. He remember being in this exact position. Except last time Annabeth was pissed. Percy widened his eyes. "I have a girlfriend!"

The woman's eyes went wide before turning to anger. Percy ran out the door before the lady could say anything else.

Blackjack was there, and Percy gave him his donut. "Buddy, you don't know what I did to get you that donut," he said.

"Your the best boss," Blackjack said, before he inhaled the donut.

Percy was just about to leave, but then he saw a few monsters approaching. Percy groaned. "Why, it's not like I am using technology?!"
