Previously...
Percy and Annabeth knew time was running out. Time was literally chasing after them. By time, the TVA. They came in with their badges and started asking around for them. They did not spot them.

Annabeth had this far away look in her eyes. Her mind was on strategies.

Percy didn't say anything. Right now they needed to come up with a game plan. Annabeth was the best person for that. Most of his planning happened on the spot.

"We need to get more information."

"What about the quest," Percy asked.   He wanted his aunt to know him.  He also feared if he kept this secret for a long time then she would be impatient and do something crazy.  She was after all a spy, and a good one by mortal standards.

"If we get caught by them then there will be no quest."

"What about my aunt?"

"She may become a problem if she is kept in the dark.  Just text your mom to say something to hold her over."   Percy nodded texting Sally through Annabeth's phone.  It was probably going to attract a monster but oh well.

Sally:  Okay, your aunt is at the door.  I will tell her.

Percy: Thnx mom!

Percy gave the phone back to Annabeth just as a monster approached them from the shadows.  They both nodded to each other is silent agreement.  Things were about to get messy whether they liked it or not.

"Be careful on your journey."

"Be careful on your journey."

"Be careful on your journey."

Those were all the words that were going over in Loki's mind. They were plaguing him like a disease. He doesn't know why he stuck with it, but he knew he was supposed to die.

The fates deemed is so unless he went on a journey. A journey. Not a quest. He wasn't searching for anything.

Why did they have to be this vague? Why couldn't they help a fellow god out.

Loki scoffed. They didn't consider him equal. Loki remember the way they had treated them. As lesser. They kept on saying that our blood was diluted by the mortal world. "Legacies and not demigods."

No he refused to believe that. They were just messing with him. He had powers greater than any human would even dare to hope to have. Power unimaginable. What did they know of power? All they ever did was sit on the their throne giving vague details. Just some old beings who needed some cats to become "cat ladies."

Loki had ditched Thor. He was probably raging mad, in that loud obnoxious way. He was probably screaming "LOKI," when no one was there. Like anyone would hear him? Just another child throwing a hissy fit. His brother wasn't the most mature, but luckily he was there as a guiding hero to help him. But did he ever get rewarded? No, all he ever got was called "narcissistic" and "sadistic." So maybe transforming into a snake and biting him was hurtful but it was for his own good. He needed to learn a lesson.

He hoped he was on the way to get Bru.... He stopped when people stepped out of no where with the TVA on it.

He looked still them skeptically.  "Loki we are here to bring you in for the charges of messing with the timeline."

Loki looked up at the sky and then looked back at them.  "No," Loki said.

"We are taking..."

Loki moved attacking the people with weapons and trying to make an exit.   All of a sudden he was slowed down somehow and taken in with hand cuffs.   "You can't do this to me!  I am a god!"

He continued to struggle until he disappeared into nothing.

Thor came back raging mad into the avengers tower. The other avenger's looked at Thor.

"What happened," Natasha demanded.   Tone hard as ice.

"It's Loki," he disappeared.

Tony cursed.

"Language," Steve said.

"Not now old Bettie.  I have the right this time," Tony said.

"I am sorry, I didn't think," Thor started.

"No you didn't think," said a man stepping out from no where.   It wasn't the TVA, but none other than Doctor Stephen Strange.   "I will help you find him because I want him away."

He looked serious and angry.

They all looked to each other.   Tony sighed looking weary.   "Avengers assemble."

It wasn't a happy reunion, but it was a reunion nonetheless.

Percy and Annabeth went and explained what happened in camp.   They didn't know much, but Chiron seemed to know a lot.

Chiron sat them down and explained everything.   Camp was a buzz with their new enemy.  The TVA.

"Who do you think is behind it all," Annabeth asked.

Percy shrugged.   "A person who thinks they are trying to do things for the greater good."

"Why do you think that," Annabeth asked.   Already figuring it out, but wanting Percy to say it out loud for some reason.

"It doesn't sound like an easy thing to do, and a person doesn't do that stuff because they want to be evil.  People usually want to do good, but they get a messed up sense of what is good and bad."

Annabeth nodded.

They stayed silent for a moment before they all walked to the meeting hall.   Preparations needed to be made.  They were fighting for their existence again.  Half of themselves was not supposed to be there.   The TVA did not want them.
