Harrah, Harrah! It is here! It is here!
I have to be honest, I was trying really hard to avoid this person. I probably pissed off a ton of people with the Aaa theory. But if you weren't pissed off then, well, I urge you to read on. Here we go, Susan Strong.
Susan Strong is a fighter and, presumably, the leader of the Hyoomans. Hyoomans are the amphibious mutants the live under Ooo. When Finn and Jake first encounter Susan in a hatch to Beautopia. They try to teach her about the world they live in after, again presumably, after a thousand years. Then she tries to bring her brethren to the surface and eat the Candy Kingdom. At the end, we see one of the Hyoomans lose its hat, and you see that it has gills and scales behind its hat. So originally, I thought that Susan Strong was a half-fish person.
However, four seasons passed and an episode came out. Dark Purple. Dark Purple was an episode centered around Susan and her team mates fighting a giant cooperation that makes a soda called Super Porp. Nothing really to note, except for two things. First, Susan loses her hat. As she turns her head, you can see a gear or some other technical augmentation. Two things imediately popped into my head. One, Susan is a cyborg! What?! Also, I was wrong. Susan isn't just a Hyooman.
It is implied that Hyoomans evolved from Humans after being stuck underground in a water-filled city. So here is what I'm thinking. What if the pre-Mushroom War humans found a way to make a cyborg protector in case some disaster happened while in hiding. Susan is one such, or the only, cyborg protectors. This would explain the gears and why she isn't a fish person also.
Second thing to note. In the episode, the Super Porp CEO steals a baby to become the new Super Porp CEO, but she calls it a "destiny baby". Weird. What is a destiny baby, and are our heroes them too.
Think about it. Both Finn and Jake have multiple lives. This is seen in the episode "The Vault". We see the past life of Finn, when he was a girl called Shoko. Shoko proceeds to meet Princess Bubblegum and steals her amulet for her. Yes, Shoko's tiger is a past life of Jake. It was confirmed by a writer or something. And yes, technically she is a street thief and it kind of goes against Finn's code by stealing an amulet made by PB with a matching one she gave to Marceline to be combined to make a laser and function as a friendship amulet in a short love story (In the comic, its canon.), but her ghosts unfinished business is to return said amulet. So that is kind of righteous. Also, she doesn't ascend... getting off topic. This will just have to be a different page. The point is are Finn and Jake destiny babies? Well, Abraham Lincoln did give his life to save Jake from Death by giving up his immortal life force, saying "We need this one." This could just be guilt, however. Also, Finn odes have the secret to all life in his heart/ armpits, remember.
Okay, all that tallied up really just means that, if I am right, destiny babies are like heroes that can't die before their time and can reincarnate. Of course, maybe this world runs on the belief that all people reincarnate. But then why is there the Land of the Dead. Seems kind of pointless if everyone just reincarnates. So some people reincarnate. Then who is Baby reincarnating? Well we will have to see who died in the show. Billy, Prismo, Rootbeer Guy, Abe Lincoln, and a bunch of one-shot monsters and villain. We can rule out Prismo, he was brought back to life, the monsters, none of them seem very important to be part of a huge destiny, and Abe. He gave up his life force. That's like, death always. That leaves Billy and Rootbeer Guy. Well, it must be Billy right? He died about a season earlier, and this baby looks about a few months old.
However, Jake at one point says that we probably never met Billy, and he was dead before they met. So I think that Finn is the reincarnation of Billy. So then Rootbeer Guy is Baby's past life.
You are probably thinking "Really, Rootbeer Guy? He's not the remarkable! The only thing I even remember about that episode was the part where his wife dresses up like a French maid." Well, I don't know. Maybe his creativity or his intelligence makes him important to the destiny of life. I don't know. All I know is that he fits the bill. He died in the same season, and he was important enough to have his own episode. So, Baby is the reincarnation of Rootbeer Guy.
Well, tell me what you think in the comments, and maybe post your own theory for me too look at. Also, should I write about Shoko, an overview of the comics, or re-do the Bubbline chapter. Tell me in the comments and I will see you next time.
