What we know about Finn is a lot. Finn was the only human in Ooo, but it was proven that his dad is alive. He also has some abilities that normal humans don’t, like making fire with his hands and his flexible arms. So we can presume that he or an ancestor got irradiated a little bit during the Mushroom War.
He also probably survived living or being born in that cosmic cathedral his dad is in. He was left or accidently left the cathedral by himself and ended up on Boom-Boom Mountain.
Finn is also destined to lose an arm. In pretty much every future version or alternate reality of Ooo, Finn has a robot arm. So it is just a matter of time.
Past Lives and the Encyclopedia of Ooo reveal that Finn has the Secret of Life is his heart or his armpits. The Lich wants to end all life. There for, we can summarize that Finn is the opposite of the Lich and destined to end the Lich. Maybe through heroic sacrifice?
