"Oh, come on, Lucius. Going on a boat won't kill you." I put down the picnic basket in the small boat.
"Fine, whatever." He glared, but I could see that he secretly wanted to.
I helped him into the boat and started the engine. Once I was out of the mooring place and onto the open water, I sped up a bit.
Lucius had been ignoring me the whole time, because "No, Y/n! I'm not going on this boat trip of yours! If my parents found out they'd be extremely disappointed in me." To which I replied with "Lucius, I'm literally muggleborn. I met your parents. I think that if you didn't wanna disappoint them, you shouldn't have started dating me." He didn't like that...
"Darling?" I placed my hand on his. "Look at me, please." I softly caressed his hand with me thumb.
"What?"
"Look, I'm sorry for telling you that before, but please don't be like this. You agreed to go with me, if you didn't want to go, you shouldn't have said yes." His eyes darted down from my eyes, to my lips, back to my eyes.
"No, I just wanted to make you happy..." He turned his hand around and intertwined our fingers. As he did so, a small smile appeared on his lips. "I'm sorry, princess."
"You're an idiot, y'know that?" A smile stretched on my lips.
"Oh, shut up." He laughed.
"Hmm, no." I laughed as well, before giving him a peck on the cheek and turning my attention back to the steering wheel.
After a while of boating, we docked at a pretty place with a lot of grass.
"Can you hand me the picnic basket?" I asked once I was on land. He nodded and handed me the basket. I extended my hand out to him, which he took and he climbed out of the boat.
I set down the basket, before grabbing Lucius' hand and walking towards the water.
"Do you have anything important in your pockets?" He shook his head in confusion. "Great." I smiled, before I pushed him into the water.
"Y/n!" He gasped once he was above the water again.
"Yes? What's wrong, Dear?" I laughed. "You seem a bit wet?" I pointed out.
"Really? Do I now? hmm?" He grabbed my ankles and pulled me into the water.
Once I was above the water, I gasped for air.
"You okay?" He held me tight by my waist as I coughed up some water.
"I am now..." I said with a smile, while I placed my arms on his shoulders.
"Great..." He sighed in relief as he attached his lips against mine and pulled away almost instantly. "I shouldn't be taking away your air, sor- hmpf-" I kissed him to shut him up.
"You should shut me up like that more often."
"whatever, Malfoy. Let's eat, I'm hungry."
