Peter ended up pulling me down to lay curled up against him, until I ended up dozing off in the safety of his arms, while he kept up this rumbling growling purr noise that seemed to melt away all my worries. Yet when I woke up the next morning he was nowhere to be seen even as I took note of the piece of folded paper laying on my vanity with a number written on it. I honestly didn't know what to think at the moment, most of Season One in canon had been spent on finding out who was the Alpha, and then Derek killing Peter at the end of it.
"Rise and shine," exclaimed Stiles making me flinch at the loud noise as he yanked open my bedroom door. "Lets get some breakfast and then we will talk."
"Stiles please lower your voice," I said with a whine as I rubbed at my ringing ears. "I honestly feel like I'm hungover at the moment."
"Are you?" asked Stiles without a second of hesitation making me send him a glare even as I shooed him from the room so I could gather my clothes and take a hot relaxing shower to wake me up.
"Today is going to be a long day," I mused with a grimace and a shake of my head. "Lets hope I don't end up murdering Stiles by the end of it."

I payed zero attention to Stiles spazzing, concerning the outfit I had chosen to wear that day, because honestly it wasn't even that bad seeing as I even added a red plaid shirt which I had tied around my waist.
"That top is to seductive," shouted Stiles while he waved his finger into my face. "Are you trying to attract all of those stupid boys!?"
"When did you become my dad Stiles?" I shot back with a huff.
Honestly it was actually the under bra I was wearing under the white t-shirt that seemed to be causing Stiles to throw a fit. But even still it didn't look tacky and it went well with my light white blue jean shorts.
"Now hurry up or we will be late meeting up with Scott."
When we finally did reach school, and parking close to where Scott had parked his motorcycle, that I still wasn't sure how he convinced his mother to allow him to get it was only a few minutes before they bell would ring. And to think this is only the first day of school, which meant if it sorts of followed what I knew, then Allison Argent would be showing up.
"Are you seriously wearing that?" asked Scott with wide eyes as Stiles began to mutter thank you while waving toward Scott.
"Both of you need to just shut it," I warned voice dipping into a growl as my frustration grew out of my control forcing me to squeeze my eyes shut to calm myself as I counted my breaths and that of Stiles heartbeat.
"I have a blazing headache."
"Mars," called out Jackson Whittemore as he jogged over to me with a large smile even as he sent both Stiles and Scott a look of disgust.
That had been the biggest change, once I got into high school, befriending Jackson who my brother hated.
"Looking good pixie. You ready for tryouts today?"
"I still don't know why you want me to join an all-boys team," I said with a slight shake of my head as I allowed him to tug me toward the school with his arm thrown around my shoulders as he likely led me to where our friends were. "Nor how you even convinced the Coach to allow it."
"I am the Captain," answered Jackson with a smug smirk even as he shared a high five with Danny as we pulled up toward our group in front of my locker.
"And Danny here as my Vice-Captain agreed to it."
"Oh, you would be so amazing if you joined," agreed Jules with a clap of her hands. "Plus, it will be mega points with the boys."
"Why are you so boy crazy?" groaned Christopher with a shake of his head as he leaned back against his locker that was beside mine.
"Why are you?" shot back Jules with sass as she looked between Chris and Danny.
Both of who only rolled their eyes at her. They had begun to date back in our Freshman year last year to the surprise of many.
"I won't forgive you if you don't at least try out," warned Lydia as she walked up to us and wrapped her arm around Jackson's waist while leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Now enough gossip its time to head to class seeing as there was mention of us having a new girl."
I could have grimaced at the news that Allison was in fact going to be showing up, well there was a slim chance it was some random new student, but I didn't think my luck would hold out for that to be the case. I ended up getting pulled into another hug from Jackson before he took off with Lydia and Danny leaving Chris, Jules, and I to head to our own first period class of the day that we luckily had together.

I had never realized just how hard it was to keep in control and not shift and attack everything in sight for someone newly turned. Because every little sound seemed to wear on my nerve endings, while every smell made me want to hurl, on top of the light feeling blinding leaving me swaying in my seat as I tried to fight through it to catalogue everything and stay in control. Which only seemed to work when I focused solely on Stiles's heartbeat, or that of Peter's, to keep me fully human. Which did put a lot of stock onto the whole having an anchor thing that was talked about through the series.
"Today officially sucks," I decided at lunch at noticing Allison sitting there all doll like with Scott and Stiles.
