My fear was almost too much, even after Derek had dropped me off back at my house, and I ended up able to sneak back in without even Stiles, who was also returning home from Scott's house, noticing me having left. But honestly, I think my fear was warranted seeing as the Argent's and their minions killed werewolves for sport and didn't even care if those werewolves had never once killed or hurt another human being.

Before Derek had let me out of his car he had nabbed my cellphone and made sure his number was programmed in along with another number he had in case he lost the first one with the warning to text or call him immediately if Allison or her family began to suspect me.

"You alright?" asked Stiles the next morning as he ambled into my room as I sat in front of my vanity fixing my hair for the day.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked in return with a raised eyebrow.

I ran my hand through my scrunched curls with the moose to make sure I got it all covered before grabbing a towel to scrunch it once more and get rid of the extra moose from my hair, so it didn't turn into weird noodle curls.

"Maybe because of the way you have been acting when Scott brings up Allison in conversation and the way you acted when meeting her," answered Stiles while giving me a look as if to say try again. "Just, did she do something to you or what Mars?"

"For the love of Satan Stiles," I grumbled with a slight growl of frustration as I leaned toward the mirror to start doing my makeup. "I just don't like her.

Which is pretty normal for most girls to have those they don't like so let it go!"

"Alright fine," sighed Stiles before locking eyes onto the leather jacket resting upon my bed. "I don't remember you having a leather jacket in men's size...

Whose jacket is that Mars?"

"I am going to throw something at you," I shouted fed up even as I finished placing on my eyeliner and mascara while glaring toward Stiles. "A friend of mine lent it to me yesterday when I got chilly in class and forgot to bring a jacket of my own."

"Is that what you are wearing to school?" wondered Stiles before yelping and running from my room as I got fed up and threw one of my shoes near me at him.

"Somehow it doesn't surprise me," stated Jules with a snort of laughter as I told her about Stiles questions this morning with frustration. "I mean he has always been overprotective of you to begin with and now add on to you acting a bit different and growing up.

Well it leaves me shocked it took him this long to realize you weren't a little girl anymore."

"I am going to kill your brother and that friend of his," snarled Jackson as he came stalking toward us with rage shining in his eyes. "You have to tell me if they are on drugs or not Mars because I know just a few weeks ago Scott couldn't play for shit because of his asthma."

"He has gotten better with his asthma, the doctor even mentioned it seemed to be clearing up," I lied easily with only a small amount of guilt.

But truth was I wasn't going to let Scott or Stiles out us to the Argent family if I could help it even if that meant lying to a good friend of mine.

"Though I am surprised he went ahead with tryouts yesterday."

"Yeah well whatever just because he can now play doesn't make him a hot shot," growled Jackson even as he took a deep breath to calm down before overlooking what I was wearing with a raised eyebrow. "That skirt is pretty short Mars."

"Oh, for the love of a," I snarled myself slamming my locker door shut and stalking away with Christopher and Jules rushing to keep up even as they broke out into peals of laughter at me once again having someone scold my choice in clothes.

"This is getting ridiculous!"

"They just want to protect your precious self," offered Christopher between gales of laughter as we stumbled into the cafeteria for breakfast. "I mean can you image how much worse they are going to be once you start dating?"

"Poor man," added Jules with fake solemnity before breaking down into another fit of laughter making me huff even as a smile tugged at the corner of my mouth. "You have to pick someone who won't give two shits about what others, but you think."

"I am well aware of that," I said with a roll of my eyes as we settled down at our table while Christopher went off to get breakfast for us all.

We had a deal since Junior High, that we would rotate days for who would have to brave the lunch line to get food for the day and it was something we kept up with even now.

"Good thing I seem to be attracted to older men then."

My amusement and good mood left me as I notice Stiles and Scott both laughing it up with Allison at their table even as Lydia, Jackson, and Danny joined us at ours making me bit down at the real growl wanting to leave my throat. This was dangerous and had me reaching for my phone to snap a picture and send it to Derek so he could be forewarned and not risk the chance in helping Scott, because at this point Scott didn't deserve it, and I wouldn't let him put Derek and Peter at risk.

"Now that is an ugly look," said Lydia breaking me from the glare I was sending toward Allison and having me turn to face one of my closest friends outside of the twins and Jackson.

"Don't worry Mars she won't ever be popular or a friend of ours if you don't trust or like her."
