I had to force the smile unto my face to not fall as I sent my brother a small wave while making my way to them. In truth I usually sat with my own friends but before that I had made a habit of stopping by Stiles and Scott's table to chat first. Which I was now regretting, one person I had loathed on equal level to Kate and Grandpa Argent, was Allison Argent herself. This was going to be so much fun.
Do note my sarcasm.
"Hey brother dearest," I said as I took a seat beside him. "How has things been going so far? Not causing any issues for Mr. Harrison, are you?"
"When does me just breathing not bother Harrison?" asked Stiles with a shake of his head as he stabbed at his food.
"Mars this is Allison," cut in Scott after realizing Stiles wasn't going to do the introductions. "Allison this is Stiles younger sister Marzena."
"Its nice to meet you," offered Allison with a shy smile. "Honestly its just great to be able to make friends so quickly."
Any other day and this might have turned out differently. But right now I was trying to learn to control my wolf side and instincts, on top of just not liking the character I had known her as, which just spelled disaster making me realize it would have been better to avoid the table all together instead of going over there.
"Pleasure," I said drolly with a fake smile most bitch barbie popular girls used in high school as I glided to my feet and walked off.
"Praise Hades I didn't rip her throat out."
Because now that this wasn't just a TV series it made what her family did a whole lot worse to me. They murdered and tortured werewolf packs because they believed we were monsters that didn't deserve to live. She would go on to torture Isaac and even shoot Scott while watching her aunt torture Derek in front of her. Honestly, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with the stupid bitch and she had better stay the fuck away from me.
"Mars," shouted Scott catching my attention along with that of the rest of the student body in the cafeteria. "What the hell was that back there?"
"Look," I snapped with a growl as I clenched my hands tightly at my sides while barely looking toward the other. "Sometimes in life there are people who just rub you the wrong way and that you want nothing to do with. Allison there is that to me. Now if you will excuse me, I would like to go eat."
I didn't even bother waiting for him to try to defend the girl as I stalked off toward my table where the others were watching me with concern and raised eyebrows. Though I did note the satisfied look Jackson was sporting at seeing me snap at Scott. He had been pushing me to stop hanging out with Scott for over a year now.
"Don't ask," I warned them as I sat down even as Jules pushed a plate of food toward me making me give her a smile of thanks.
"Today is the worst day ever."

It was as most headed off to practice that I decided to head toward the Hale house, or what was left of it, in hopes of running into Peter Hale himself. Because I knew that I couldn't continue trying to control this on my own, even if I had managed to finish the day without killing anyone or shifting. It had fully slipped my mind that this was around when Derek would be back in Beacon Hills and staying in the ruins of his home.
"You are trespassing," stated Derek Hale as he walked out the front door of the burned-out house making me jerk back in surprise.
"Why are you here?"
"Well shit," I grumbled eyes wide while overlooking Derek.
And man, why were both Hale men so fucking attractive!?
"I apologize its just that...
Well I don't even know if you will believe me."
I finished saying with a sigh as I ran a hand through my hair in frustration as I gave him a weary smile. I didn't know if this worked in my favor or not all things considered as I stood there sheepishly while he glared down at me from the porch.
"Try me," said Derek as he took in a deep breath and raked his eyes over my form to likely look for a bite wound. "I might just surprise you. I'm Derek Hale by the way."
"Marzena Stilinski," I offered with another sigh as I started walking toward him so there wasn't so much distance between us. "And don't say I didn't warn you. Something drew me here like there was this tugging that I just had to follow."
The thing was, I wasn't even lying, allowing me to believe that Peter was likely nearby, and it was him tugging me toward here. That or his ties to this place that was the cause of me wanting to come here.
"You aren't lying," stated Derek with a raised eyebrow as he jogged down the last few steps separating us. "Which means you are a new Beta werewolf."
"So, there is a reason for me to be so drawn to this place?" I asked with some disbelief even as I fought to hold still as he walked right into my personal bubble.
"This was the house and home of the only werewolf pack in Beacon Hills," answered Derek eyes dim with sorrow and guilt. "It likely even now years later has a pull for Beta werewolves that are on their own."
"Oh," I whispered in surprise. "Well does that mean you can help me with all of this?"
Yet even as I asked that my mind went back to the journals Peter had left on my nightstand table, that again had slipped my mind, making me wonder just what the problem with me was since I couldn't seem to remember some things.
"Of course," answered Derek almost sounding eager.
"We are now like family."
