Jules and Christopher were a big help without even realizing it in helping me figure out what I could about Marzena Stilinski. I was a year younger than Stiles, was on the short petite side, loved running, which is why I joined track and took gymnastics and yoga classes to help stay in shape and to keep busy. Marzena also seemed to be the cute sassy type of teenager who didn't care what others thought. Hence her large love of Disney to the point of wearing outfits designed on characters from Disney.

"Thank the moon school is over," I groaned out as my head hit the desk making Christopher chuckle while Jules rolled her eyes. "Only downside is the homework I have to complete on top of making it to my gymnastic classes."

"I thought you planned to drop gymnastics?" inquired Jules with a raised eyebrow.

I grimaced as I gained to my feet and picked up my book bag to toss over my shoulder.

"I mean didn't you text me saying how pissed your instructor was when you handed in the signed papers to be removed from the class?"

"My mind blanked," I answered sheepishly. "But thank goodness you remembered otherwise I can just imagine the face they would pull if I showed up."

"Not like you have much free time after volunteering at the nursing home," Christopher added with a look of distaste. "Why you keep volunteering and signing up for things I have no clue. We are supposed to enjoy our teenage years."

"And I am," I refuted even as I hid a squeal at the thought of getting to see Peter Hale. "I just like the idea of helping those who need help. Plus, Stiles usually spends more time at Scott's house while dad is busy at work, so I end up home alone."

"Better busy than stuck in an empty house alone," mused Jules before nodding towards the cop car as dad pulled up in front of us. "Have fun at the nursing home Mars."

"Have fun finishing tonight's assignment from Mr. Burner," I taunted causing her to groan as Christopher cackled at his twin.

"See you both tomorrow!"

I gave one last wave as I opened the passenger door and climbed into the squad car with little embarrassment, even as dad grimaced as he got a good look at the outfit I had worn to school, but again it wasn't even that bad.

"Good day at school?" Dad asked as he began driving off toward the nursing home.

Good thing the original Marzena packed a change of cute scrubs into the bag to change into at the nursing home, because otherwise I would be screwed.

"It was alright," I answered as I watched the scenery around us. "I know Stiles is getting the jeep once he gets his licenses this summer. But once I turn sixteen do you think you could help me get my own vehicle."

"Well seeing as you have been saving up your money from the small jobs you have been doing for the neighbors," Dad began and I had to bite back the surprise otherwise I would have given myself away.

"I don't see why not."

Getting signed in and changed after dad dropped me off was nerve wracking, more so, because I knew this was where Peter Hale was currently trapped at. Either way I skirted around the creepy nurse who kind of screams bad vibes. But it was some chipper nurse names Sally Parks which reminded me of a chick from Harry Potter that I was supposed to report to.

"You will be taking room 203A today since the normal nurse just clocked out," Sally explained overlooking the clipboard in her hands. "But don't worry I will be close by and all you need to do is keep him company."

"Who has room 203A?" I asked keeping a friendly and innocent smile on my face.

I mean I was a young teenager who looked like a freaking cinnamon roll.

"Peter Hale," answered Sally with a bright smile. "His family hasn't come to see him since he was placed here. So, we usually have the volunteers stop by to give him company."

I about had a fangirl moment, because even if at the moment he was crazy out of his mind with pain and broken pack bonds, he was still my favorite character outside of Stiles. And I get to meet and spend some time with him. This was the best freaking day ever.

Sadly, I had to sign some paperwork and take the first half of my shift following Sally in order to get used to the ropes here as a volunteer before she motioned me away after our lunch break to head to 203A. I had to keep myself from skipping all the way there.

"Good afternoon," I chirped as I entered the room and over to where Peter was sitting in his wheelchair facing the window. "My name is Marzena Stilinski, and I hope you don't mind me keeping you company today Mr. Hale!"

I ended up moving one of the chairs in his room to his side along with grabbing one of the books he had placed in his room as I settled down in front of him. A part of me hurt at seeing him like this, especially since I remembered how vibrant and alive, he was in the TV series after coming back from the dead.

"I'm sorry that your family doesn't come," I whispered hesitating but a moment before taking his larger and calloused hand into my smaller delicate one.

"But now you have me."

The rest of that shift I spent talking to Peter about Stiles, my friends, and even my love of supernatural and the occult. Because I knew it was real, even if no one else knew that, so pretending to be naive and yet interested in it fit me at this point in time.

It would also help me when I seemed to know things in the future.
