Chapter 5: The Headquarters

~Siri's POV~

"I got 'em."

"Good! Now we just have to escape evil witch." What Zia said made me giggle.

"Ok. I can see the two angels from here."

"Remember, we have to move quickly and quietly." She took me by the hand. "Come on."

This fall, the ground was full of leaves and out whole escape evil witch operation was deadly but we continued anyway. Tiptoeing to the other street, we managed to escape the two angels then we saw my mom.

"Arghhh! Hurry hide behind the bush!" I followed Zia and stayed out of sight of mom. Oh no, we're gonna get in big trouble for this.

Luckily, mom didn't spot us.

"Oh my gosh, I feel like Dora." I said.

"Oh yeah. The purple backpack gave it away."

"Shhhh come on!" We ran as far as we could until we got into this bus stop, right around the corner.

"You got cash?"

"Of course I do. My mom's a CEO remember?"

"Yeah and my mom's a residence owner. Why don't I get money?"

"Shush! We have to take the bus."

"You pay. I have like- a cent on my bag."

"No. I put a hundred."

"YOU DID WHA-?"

"We should've taken our bikes."

"Should we go back? It won't be long."

She took a while to respond. "Yeah...ok come on. We'll need it so they can't track us."

We quickly ran back the house. Mom haven't entered the house yet. She was talking to the guards. "Come on. Follow me. I have 2 bikes. You can take the other."

We took her bike from the garage and quietly biked to...I don't know, really. I was just following her.

"HEY! WHERE EXACTLY ARE WE GOING?"

"I DON'T KNOW! Just...FOLLOW ME!"

We kept riding to nowhere until we grew tired and stopped by at this 7/11 store. We chained our bikes outside and went in.

"So? What now?"

"We should probably look for mom's car first."

"Ok...? How are we gonna do that?"

"The last time I spoke to her, she was on her way to the office. That's where we're going."

"Her friends are there."

"No. At times like this, I know where they'll be. The headquarters."

"And where's that?"

"Somewhere...not at the office. The board members are the only ones who knows the location. Oh, and Uncle John."

"So it'll be safe for us to go to TAC?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. So come on. Pay those snacks on the counter and put them in your backpack. I hold the money and tools, you hold the snacks."

"I'm sorry...tools?"

"I took my moms dagger."

"YOU TOOK YOUR MOM'S DA-" She covered my mouth.

"Be quiet! We don't wanna gain attention."

"Breaking News; Evanette Angelus Paige, CEO of The Adonis Club, got into a car accident this morning..."
