~Kai's POV~
We heard chatters outside and rattling of the knob. "Quick!" Adrien jumped back and so did we.
"What the hell was that?!" I whispered.
Adrien whispered back and scoffed. "Why are you whispering?!"
"What now? We got no clue."
"At least now we know where the demons are staying."
"What's with your name on that paper?"
"And you know what's weird? It's kinda like Eva's handwriting."
"What if it was her who wrote that? Maybe she was giving you a sign?"
"Eva doesn't need a sign for me to find her. She can just get herself free."
"Unless they're threatening to hurt someone if she does escape or...I don't know."
"Or she lost her memory." He slightly chuckled.
"Wait no, because...that makes sense. We know Eva. With a power like hers, nothing could stop her, not even a threat because she'll be able to save the bait."
"Hmm you're right. What if she's being held somewhere and has no memory of us?"
"Or what if she's in plain sight?"
The door opened and the staff showed up. "Excuse me, sir, have you checked every room? There'd be a new guest staying here later so we need to get this room ready."
"Yes, thank you. We'll be on our way." We stepped out of the room and in the elevator. "We can go alone. Thank you for the assistance.
"Thank you, for coming." And the elevator door closed.
"Can't this thing go any faster?"
Adrien opened a portal. "Hop in."
I stepped on the ground beside the hotel. "Come on. We need to go to that Bot store something. Can't we just teleport there?"
"I can't teleport to places I don't know." He rolled his eyes.
"Okay, boss." We got a cab and jumped in.
"Where to, sirs?" The driver asked.
"TechBot Mechanic Shop."
~Adonis' POV~
"What? Are they planning on staying here the whole day?"
"Shush. I can't here what they're saying."
"Theodore, tell Chris to ready the car. We're going boating."
"Boating? Don't they have any other place to go? A mall, maybe? I'd love to stay in an air conditioned place."
"And I'd love to punch you in the face right now." Lou said.
Bella got up after the couple got out. "Come on. We gotta follow them."
~Zia's POV~
The clouds kissed my face while I was at the back of Wings, the pegasus Aunt Ella gave us.
"HEY! WHERE ARE WE GONNA LAND?!" Bix asked while he was riding on Omega, behind Uno who was controlling where she'd go.
"THERE!" Cleo, in front of me, said. "WHY DON'T WE LAND BEHIND THOSE TREES?!"
"Landing sounds Like a really great idea." Siri said while still clung onto to my body tightly.
"Won't people sea us?"
"NO!" Becca responded from Flux's back. "MS. ELLA CLOAKED US FROM NORMAL PEOPLE!"
"OK! CAN WE JUST GO DOWN NOW?!" Liv asked, gripping on Becca.
"YEP!" Cleo answered. "HOLD ON!"
~Adrien' POV~
"Ok, this is it." Kai said, looking at the store. "What are we gonna do?"
"Just follow me." I went in the shop and came forth electronics and gadgets. On the counter was a man of size. "Excuse me."
"Good afternoon, how may I help you?"
"We are looking-"
"We have everything you like here! There's a brand new-"
"We're actually not here for that. We'd like to ask some questions about two kids. They went in here, bought something from you...? Here's a picture." I showed him a picture of Zia while I told Kai to show him an image of Olivia.
"Ahhh! Those kids. Very good. They came here to buy cellphones and asked me about boats."
"Boats? What did they ask?"
"They asked me where they could fine boats to ride on."
"Did they say to where?"
"No, but I told them to go here." He should is a poster of a place. "Sea Born Fishing Charters. Best boats you can find."
"What would they need that for?" Kai asked.
"The island...Come on."
"Thank you!"
~Eva's POV~
We got in the car and drove to...wherever we're going. "Boating?"
"You'd love it there. We used to go there all the time. There was this one time where you..."
I couldn't think straight. I kept thinking about my daughter's killer.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"How did he do it?"
"Who did what?" His brows raised when he realized what I was talking about and sighed. "Cassandra, we really shouldn't be talking about this here. I-"
"You brought me here so I could remember. I want to remember. Tell me..." tears dripped on my cheeks "...what happened to my daughter?"
"She was...kidnapped. Adrien Paige asked for a big ransom and asked to meet us at some place. When we got there, Sophie-" Sophie...that's what we called her. I always thought Cassiopeia was a rather big name for a small being. Quite a lovely nickname. "-was wrapped around his arms with a knife on his hand and he...he..."
"He what? Dean, he did what?!"
"He skit her throat...in front of us and..." I gasped, both with fear and anger. "Don't blame yourself. We did everything we can."
"Where is he? I want to see him."
"He's still...missing."
"You're telling me that my child's killer is still out there while I'm here in Puerto Rico going through a memory lane?!" I felt my whole body heat up with anger and I saw strange blue waves surrounding me.
"CASSANDRA! Calm...down. BREATHE!" I inhaled...exhaled.
"What was that?" I asked him, still trying to absorb all the information I heard.
"What was what?"
"Those blue waves? What were those?"
"I didn't see anything. You're probably tired. You should lay back."
I laid my back on the seat and stared outside. "Did he have any children?"
"Yes, one. A daughter."
"If he had a daughter, why would he do that to-"
"Shhh...we'll find him, hon. We'll find him."
Still, my mind was all over him. I will find you...and I will kill you, Adrien Paige.
