~Bella's POV~

"Where the hell are they?" Don asked.

"I don't know. Their boat just disappeared. I knew something smelled fishy." Lou said.

Don scoffed. "Of course it smells fishy. We're literally by the shore."

"Ok ok everybody, shut up. We just gotta go find Adrie-" I paused.

"Hey, what is it?" Don said.

"I hear her."

"Who?"

"Eva."

Lou's eyes widened. " Wha-? WHERE?"

"Wait, I hear Adrien too." I heard him talk to a group.

Get in the portal.

Wait! Adrien!

Bella? Where are you?

Go by the boat site. I can hear Eva. Hurry, now!

A portal opened behind the trees near us and Adrien and the others appeared. "ZIA! VIXON!" I ran to hug my niece and nephew. Since we've all grown up together, our kids treated each other like their own cousins.

"Bella, where's Eva?!" I closed my eyes to listen but I heard nothing.

"I can't hear her anymore."

"Try again!" Adrien ordered.

I tried but I really couldn't hear anything. "Tsk. She's gone- AH!" My ears started ringing and my skull felt as if it was cut into two halves.

Hello, Bella. I heard a low, growling sound.

"WHO ARE YOU!"

"Bella, who is it?!" Don asked.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"

Oh, Bella. Still the same weakling. What a shame, mind that you're a part of a great, powerful troop.

"Spit it out, imbecile." Everyone stared at me with worried eyes while all I could think of is getting information out of this pest.

Tell the others to go to the first clue I gave you. I'd be waiting tomorrow, midnight.

My head relaxed and everything went back to normal.

"What the hell just happened?" Kai asked.

"A stupid little shit just told me that we'd be going to battle tomorrow."

"Wait, where?" Lou asked.

"At the first clue he gave." Lou covered us with illusion to the eye of the locals while Adrien opened a portal back home.

They all inhaled and said. "Crimson."

~Eva's POV~

The cold cement poked my head while I was gaining consciousness on the floor I was laying on.

"Ahh...Eva Angelus. Pleased to finally meet you."

"I'm not." I tried sitting but I couldn't bring myself up. I looked at him and gathered my energy.

"Don't even try. Your powers won't be able to save you today."

"Ryder?"

"Hey, there Eve. Missed me?"

"ARGH!" I looked back at the man. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"

"I did nothing, your majesty but my friend here..." Lynn came out behind the bars I was in.

"Lynn...? I knew it. I knew there was something-"

"Yeah yeah save it. Can't we just make her take the potion?"

"Stand down, Lynn. Why don't we just enjoy this for a while?" Ren...

"Oh my God, Ren..." I gazed at the man. "You're a monster."

"No. I'm Corson."

"Corson? That's your name? Oh come on. You couldn't even have picked a better name?"

"Hilarious."

"Now can we give her the potion?" Nova asked.

"How many of us did you take?! Why are you doing this?!"

"One question at a time, dear. I'm doing this for my mother and my brother."

"WHAT THE HELL HAVE WE GOT TO DO WITH YOUR FAMILY?!"

"You killed them so...I'm taking yours too."

"So this is about revenge?!"

"No, it was never my intention to take you. I wanted someone much more powerful than you."

"You land a finger on my daughter and I will-"

"You will do nothing because you'll be working for US. Your sweet little daughter shall take my family back to life HAHAHAHAHA."

"I couldn't care less about your stupid revenge nor-"

I heard a flapping noise of wings and a man appeared behind me. "This isn't about revenge, Eva."

I looked behind me when I heard a familiar voice say my name. "You...?"

"This is about love." I stared at him with disbelief and disgust. How could he do this to us? I looked back at Corson but before I could even take a glance at him, powder blew on my face. It went in my eyes and I saw pink glitters surround the room.

My brain spun and I felt every memory leave my head, from Leviathan days to the memory of my family. Every laughter, every kiss I've had with Adrien, every story I told Zia. Gone.

I saw Dean stand before me, grinning. He said "You're Cassandra, you're my wife. Adrien took our daughters life. He's a murderer, not your husband."

"I'll give Adrien Paige the penalty he deserves."

~Adrien's POV~

Siri grabbed Zia but nothing would stop that kid when it comes to saving her. Zia came speeding up to her but she took her by the arm and wrapped her neck, blocking the air from going in her lungs.

"It was all your fault! You killed my daughter...now I'm taking yours."

She was about a millimeter close to slitting my daughters' throat when her eyes brightened and indigo colored waves escaped her skin.

"ZIA! NO! STOP!"

"I'M SORRY, DAD BUT I HAVE TO SAVE MOM!" She vanished into thin air with Eva.

I was about to jump to where they could've gone but felt a hand grab my arm and stop me from going after them. He turned me around to face his God-given face and white wings. He raised his dagger up into the air and stroke it near my chest.

To my surprise, I gasped. I never expected him to be the angel they were talking about. The traitor. The snitch that took our troop down.

I looked into his eyes, seeking...expecting him to feel at least a percent of pity or regret to what he had done to us.

"Why? Why did it have to be you?"

"I'm sorry, Adrien...I just couldn't live without her." He looked at the witch that Olivia was talking about. "I'm doing this for love."

"This isn't love. This is...argh." I groaned with pain as I felt the dagger slice through my flesh. "This is obsession."

"I'm sorry. I really am...but you have to die."

"No...Mentor..."
