At least half an hour after driving, the sun starts to set. Thank god I'm not on that road anymore.
"So.... What where you doing on that road?" Luke asks me.
"Actually, that's what I want to know" I reply.
"Huh. So how old are you?" He asks.
"Why should I tell you? You could be a serial killer for all I know" I say. He laughs.
"I promise I'm not" he replies.
"Ok..... I'm 15. What about you?" I ask
"I'm 38"
"Cool" I say. I stare out the window for a while, and eventually fall asleep.
"Hey, Ayla, wake up"
"What?"
"We're in your home town" I open my eyes and look around. I see the Police Station and the Mall where I met Hunter. Then we pass the park where I met Cole and where they had a fight.
"So what's your address?" He asks.
"897 Everton Walk" I say. He types it into his GPS and follows the directions. About 10 minutes later, we pull into my driveway.
"Thank you so much for taking me home" I say.
"No problem" he says. I wave goodbye and walk up to the door. I turn around and watch him pull out of the driveway. But then I see something in the air. A demon.
"Luke! Get out of the car!" I scream and run after his car. Then I see something shoot the car, and it explodes. I fall to the ground, and I see fire everywhere.
"Ayla!" My mom screams. She runs to me and helps me up. Seconds later, Fynn is helping me to my feet too.
"Fynn, go grab a towel" she says.
"Luke. We need to get Luke" I say
"We will. But now we need to get you to a hospital.
"But....... He n-needs help" I say. My vision is getting hazzy, but I can see my mom take a towel from my brothers hands and he runs to the car. I see him rip off the door and grab something, and then I see nothing.
