Rise of the Blood Clan

Chapter 9

Kageyama smirked as Hinata got ready to lunge once again, "well." Kageyama said as he sheathed his knife. "You were always smart even if you pretend not to be." Hinata just shrugged before he too put away the knife.

"Hinata," Code Nine said as he reached Hinata, "we should move, the police will be here any minute." Kageyama just smirked before jumping onto a tree and disappeared. Hinata turned around and headed with the two Blood Clan members back to their base. When they arrived Hinata sat heavily on his seat, somehow the little bits of lost memories were beginning to resurface.

"Hey Kageyama!" a middle schooler Hinata said with a bright smile, "that serve just now was so cool! Teach me!"

Hinata chuckled at the memory as he remembered how naive he was back then, thinking he could trust anyone. He should have been more cautious when his gang had made enemies with the Wild Rose Clan, somehow if he hadn't aggravated or even annoyed Kageyama maybe the Wild Rose Clan could have gotten along with them.

"Hinata?" Code Nine asked as he gently knocked on the door, "we think it's the time to tell you."

"Tell me what," Hinata said as he looked towards Code Nine, "if it's about another Wild Rose Clan news I don't want to hear it."

"Actually," Code Nine said as he stepped aside as Oikawa stepped in, "since your memory was returning I thought this would be a good time to get you two to meet again." Hinata looked towards the door and his eyes widened.

"What is he doing here?!" Hinata exclaimed as he stood up abruptly, "is he spying on us? Is that why he's here?" Code Nine just shook his head and nervously looked away from Hinata who was currently seething in anger.

"Hey chibi-chan," Oikawa said with a friendly smile, "long time no see right?" Hinata just gritted his teeth and nodded his head.

"So tell me," Hinata said as he sat back down on the chair with a sigh, "why are you here exactly."

"Oh," Oikawa said as he sat in front of Hinata who just raised an eyebrow, "you see." after Oikawa finished explaining Hinata just sighed as he pinched his nose.

"That definitely sounds like me," Hinata stated as Oikawa grinned. 

In the Wild Rose Clans base Lev was looking over some papers about the new recruits of the Blood Clan, "so Dullahan is someone new." Lev muttered as he placed the sheet of paper down. "That doesn't matter anyway." picking up another paper Lev's eyes widened in shock.

"Sir?" Aneka asked as she entered the room. "is something wrong?" Lev laughed as he laughed at Aneka.

"It seems," Lev grinned as he pointed at Oikawa's name, "our tyrant of a leader Oikawa has switched sides." Aneka looked down to where Lev was pointing and grimace.

"It's time to get rid of him," Aneka said as she carefully picked the paper up, "we could get Dark to investigate."

"No," Lev said as he gave a smirk, "that boy will get his punishment soon."

Time skip...

Hinata and his volleyball team were once again practicing, Kageyama was back and the two tried to act as if nothing ever happened or occurred. Although it seemed the awkwardness stayed with them, and Kageyama could barely look Hinata in the eye. "Shoyo!" Noya exclaimed as he raced towards the orange-haired boy.

"Noya-san!" Hinata exclaimed as the two boys jumped up and down, "it's truly wonderful to meet you again!" Noya proudly stood tall as if he was the best person in the world.

"Ne!" Tanaka exclaimed as he raced towards the boy, "did you remember everything?!" Hinata deflated before shaking his head no. The others slowly sighed as they remembered it was partially their fault that he lost his memories.

Hinata and his team were currently outside since the school was still finishing their constructions, they were playing dodgeball and so far the only ones left were Kageyama and Hinata who were dodging and throwing balls at each other. Just when Hinata picked up a ball that was too heavy to be a dodgeball, Hinata realized that it wasn't a normal ball itself.

"Everybody duck!" Hinata said as he chucked the ball as far away from the school as possible, just as he exclaimed it the ball exploded at the spot. "Damn, at the school too. Those Wild Rose Clans are shameless. They don't appreciate that we are still in school."

"The Nekoma team is here," Kiyoko said as Kenma and Lev entered the field, Hinata glanced at Lev waiting for the tall silver-haired boy to greet him as he usually does.

"Shoyo!" Lev said as he raced towards Hinata, "did you grow taller?!" Hinata glared at him with his usual acting mode.

"How can someone grow over a span of one day!" Hinata exclaimed as he crossed his arms as Hinata stared at Lev.

"I grew 2 inches," Lev stated as he smiled when he saw Hinata's eyes widen and his jaw drop, "anyway, I'm going to use the bathroom! Be right back!" with that Lev was off and Kageyama took that as he too excused himself to get a drink of water.

In the bathroom, Kageyama slowly opened the door and locked it on the way in, "sir." Kageyama said as he slowly entered the bathroom. "What are you doing here?"

"Giving you another chance," Lev said as he crossed his arms, "if you fail this chance consider yourself dead," Lev said as he trained his eyes to Kageyama's his face cold and unreadable. Kageyama bowed his head and watched as Lev exited the room, after a couple of seconds Kageyama followed out. Kageyama was spacing out most of the time and snapped out of it when Hinata came in front of his face.

Lev kept a close eye on Kageyama as he and Hinata hung out together, "Kageyama!" Hinata said as he threw another ball at the boy who skillfully dodged it. "Just lose already!" the others just watched laughing Kenma was the only one who wasn't, he kept a close eye on Lev making sure he wasn't caught. Kenma figured out the plan and ordered everyone to stop.

"Get down!" Kenma exclaimed and everyone scared slammed into the ground just as bullets whizzed past them, "damn!" Kenma said as he grabbed his phone to trace the shooter.

"I'd advise you to obey me," a voice said as Kenma and Hinata turned to look at the figure, "I know you all inside and out, nothing will stop me."

"Aneka," Kenma said as he lowered his phone in shock, "why are you doing this. Hinata is your friend from childhood!" Aneka just shrugged as she twirled the gun.

"There are no friends or allies in a game of war," Aneka stated as she aimed the gun at Hinata, "now follow what I say or else you leader's brain will go kaboom." Hinata looked towards Hinata with a pained look before walking towards Aneka who raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing! Don't step closer!" Hinata grabbed the gun and aimed it at his stomach.

"I remember Aneka," Hinata said with a sad smile, "I remember to every last detail. I know what you did."
