__________

"Reid! I am leaving!" I yelled across the house, he was laying in the bed still, enjoying one of our few days that we get off.

I made sure to feed SP before I left, and double checked that I had all my insurance information just in case they need it at the doctors office. I heard a faint grunt from Spencer, and then headed out the door.

When getting into my car I was reminded that I hadn't been driving myself around much lately, after all Spencer and I were spending an awful lot of time together. I was really surprised no one had caught on at work, especially Ms. Penelope Garcia, who snoops into everything.

I felt good, and I was hoping my body was going to give me the results I wanted, however I was just hoping and praying that Spencer wouldn't leave me if I found out I was infertile. On the way to the doctor I was blasting music in my car, listening to whatever made me feel like I was on top of the world.

When I pulled up to the doctors office the parking lot was fairly empty, which triggered my flight or fight response. Since there was so one around, there would be no one to help me if anything were to happen. I got out of my car, quickly grabbed my purse and bolted for the door, luckily I was fine, but the lady at the front desk looked at me weird. "Can I help you?" She asked,

"I have an appointment." I said, smiling and trying to pretend like I didn't just walk in like a crazy person.

She raised her eyebrow and then looked down at her computer, "Name?"

"Y/n L/n." I looked around the office while she was checking me in and started to zone out. My mind flashed back to the chair. The chair I was tied up in, and being held against my will.

"Y/n?" I heard someone say, I saw my father walking up to me, and I could feel my heart rate start to speed up. "Y/n?" I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped,

"Oh my god, I am so sorry." I laughed and looked back at her,

She sat back down in her seat and told me the doctor would be out in a few minutes. I picked a random seat and then started scrolling through my phone. I saw that Emily was at the beach, only a few miles from me now, and Spencer had posted a picture of our cat. I smiled and liked the photo. "L/n, I'm ready for you."

I looked up and then grabbed my stuff, following her to the office.

"Hey, how did the appointment go?" Spencer asked me. I had just walked in the door and he was sitting on the couch with SP.

I sighed and took my shoes off, leaving them at the door. "We don't know yet. She said there's a high chance that the miscarriage was just due to the stress from work, but there's also a high chance it could just be me and my faulty uterus." I was really hoping that I would have found out the truth, but having to wait on more tests, was just making me more worried.

Spencer got up from the couch and walked over to me, "You're perfect y/n. Don't ever forget it." He pulled me into a tight hug and all I wanted to do is lay in his arms and cry, however the hug didn't even last long enough before he pulled away. I couldn't help but sometimes push myself to feel insecure around him. "I don't mean to make you feel any worse, but we just got a case for a 19-year-old boy who's been going around killing people in Georgia..."

"They know who it is?" I asked, "Why haven't they caught him?"

"He's apparently really good at what he does, and hasn't been caught. I don't know much more than that."

I sighed and then walked past Spencer to go get my Go-bag. "Call Samantha, she said she'd help watch SP when we go out of town." I gave him a little scratch on the head, and then kept walking.
