__________

Nancy.

I remembered the conversation I had with Spencer that night when he told me what Morgan said. "She likes you, you should go for her Pretty Boy." Inside when I heard that I was just upset. Spencer and I weren't very far in our relationship, we just found each other again, but now, I am in fumes.

"Oh hey, Spencer," Nancy says giving him a big smile. I saw him blush and he waved back at her.

I turned away, trying to bottle my rage. Spencer and I are not a couple, I repeated over and over in my brain. If he wants Nancy, he can have her.

The elevator beeped and we all piled out. Hotch directed us to two different cars, I chose to ride with Morgan and Emily, making sure Spencer wasn't anywhere near me. I hopped into the backseat and took a deep breath, letting out a large amount of air.

"What was that?" Morgan asked getting into the driver's seat.

"What was what?" I looked out the window and watched Spencer get into the other car, taking another deep breath.

"What is up with you and Reid?" Emily asked turning around from the passenger seat to look at me.

"Nothing." I didn't look at either of them ask them to ask me questions, you'd think since they were profilers they would know how to profile me not wanting to talk about this. After what felt like hours of questioning we arrived at the site. There were a dozen cop cars and even more FBI agents. This must be a big one.

"Officer Norksmone, thank you for calling us," Hotch said to the head officer. "This is-"

As he was introducing everyone I started blocking out the noise, and I looked around me. I felt something familiar, something I haven't felt in a long time. I couldn't place my finger on it, but I knew it was bad. "And Agent Y/n," Hotch said gesturing to me.

"Well thank you for driving down here, this case is a woosy." He sighed turning around to face the pond. "This one seems to be the one he was using for a while, we found four bodies and we've only been here for a few hours. This lake is one of the many here, I'm sure he's going to find another soon."

"What makes you think it's a male?" Morgan asked.

"Confession letter." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the letter.

'Bring me back my bug, I want her so badly. Please bring me my bug. She will not survive without me. My strong arms wrapped around her neck, bring me back my bug or else the next one will be Hung.' Read the letter.

"Seems like he is an abuser, the quote, 'my strong arms wrapped around her neck' suggest he thinks highly of himself, and that he is abusing her," Reid spoke.

"Smart kid." Officer Norksmone smiled and then returned to his frown. "He left a copy of the letters in each victim."

"Alright well lets set up over here, I'm sure there is more evidence we can look through. We need to move fast, he's speeding up." Hotch says to all of us.

"Did he handwrite the letters?" I asked.

"They were all printed, something you could easily type out on any word document," Norksmone said showing me the letter.

I laughed and everyone looked at me funny. "Just something that reminded me of my dad." I sighed and walked with the team over to go get set up.

"We've been at this for hours and there is nothing new," Emily said rubbing her temples.

"I think it's time for us all to go get some sleep." Hotch sighed and started grabbing his stuff.
