I woke up and looked around the room, little lights were peeking in through the closed curtains, and the room was very still. I rolled over and Emily was still asleep, great she didn't see anything. I then turned to face Spencer, only to be greeted by a pillow in his absence. I huffed and then heard the annoying ring of the alarm.

"Ugh," Emily said getting up and turning it off. "Great, time to get ready." She gave me a sarcastic smile and then walked into the bathroom. I heard the shower turn on and the door close.

"Well, I should at least make sure he's okay..." I picked up my phone and texted him, asking where he went and if he was okay. Normally I am not very protective over people I love, and I let them roam free, but Spencer was in pain. He needs me, and I am sitting here doing nothing.

After a few minutes of constantly checking my phone, I decided to just get ready and to talk to him later. After getting dressed and laying on my bed staring at the ceiling Emily came out of the bathroom fully ready, "You alright?" She asked, I didn't even hear the water turn off, Spencer was the only thing on my mind.

"All good, let's go meet everyone in the lobby." I got off the bed and grabbed all of my things, making sure to grab my FBI jacket before I left the room. When Emily and I reached the lobby I was quickly greeted with disappointment as Spencer was not there. "Hey Hotch, where's Spencer?" I asked, he looked confused.

"I haven't seen him since last night. I assumed he was with you."

I watched everyone's faces turn into worry, "He's going through something rough right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he is just out losing some stress." I quickly said, even though I didn't believe it myself.

"We can have Garcia check his location when we get to the police station, but in the meantime, we need to solve this case. Let's head out." Hotch started walking to the parking lot, and we all followed. Pilling into the car and driving to the station.

"Well isn't it strange that they always pick the same building, but never the same time?" JJ said,

The killer was prominently a 30-40-year-old man who had a huge attachment to an old building that used to be a children's hospital. It has been out of service for over a decade but yet he has somehow slipped past every security protection we had set up, and placed a dead corps around a week old in several rooms.

"The timing is most likely to avoid security if he's that attached to the building he will do anything in his power to get inside," Morgan responded,

"Is there any secret entrances, or have we checked the records of the hospital?" I added in,

"Reid was supposed to be checking the records. They're all on files." Rossi said.

"That reminds me," Hotch walked over to the computer Garcia was waiting on, "Garcia we need you to track Reid's phone. Ping it or do whatever you need, he's been MIA for a few hours." I heard Garcia's voice turn into worry as she typed away.

"Alright I just pinged it, I should get a location in a few seconds." Garcia said, as soon as she finished speaking a loud ping went off in my jacket, "That's weird, it says he's at the Station with you guys,"

I pulled out what was making the noise in my jacket, Spencer's phone. "He put it in my jacket." Suddenly the room was full of stress and tension, I heard Garcia take a deep breath and I watch as even Hotch started to get worried.

"Morgan and JJ, why don't you two go look for him at the hotel. If there's no sign of him then you can just go on ahead to the crime scene."

"Alright." JJ and Morgan stood up and started heading for the door,
