"Y/n? You okay?" JJ asked, I quickly snapped back into reality and turned my head to face her,

"Hm? Yeah, I am fine." I gave her a reassuring smile to let her know I was fine and then she turned away to do her work. I looked over at Emily who was in the desk to my right. She rolled her chair over to get closer to me,

"Y/n, what happened after we left the hospital?" She said smirking.

"W-What do you mean? We just hung out and then he took me home."

"Uh-huh. Did you now?"

I grabbed my water bottle and took a sip, "Mhm." I hummed in response.

"Oh, well then I hope you don't mind me asking but, how's Ryan?"

I chocked on my water and looked up at her with wide eyes, "You okay?" Morgan asked laughing.

"Mhm!" I said giving him a thumbs up, after everyone turned away once more I looked back at Emily, "This is why I can't tell you anything."

She laughed, "Oh come on, we both know I was going to find out eventually. You're going to have to be more careful about Penelope though, she can't keep a secret."

I sighed, "Please don't tell anyone, I don't think we're official yet, but all I know is that we both like each other. I'm just worried about work." I looked across from me and watched Spencer read his case files.

"My lips are sealed, just make sure you two are careful," She smiled at me and then rolled back to her desk. I noticed Spencer had looked up at her and Emily gave him a wink.

Spencer slowly turned his head to look at me, "She knows?" He said whispering.

"She knows." I nodded, laughing.

He looked at Emily, and then back to me, "I didn't know we were telling people..."

"She found out by herself, I didn't tell her." I noticed Hotch came out of his office and I pretended to be working.

"Y/n, can I see you in my office?" I looked up at him and swallowed, he started walking back to his office and I quickly looked at Spencer,

"Does he know?" He whispered as I walked by,

I shrugged and hurried up the catwalk, walking into Hotch's office. "Please, sit." He gestured to the chair in front of him and I sat down.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked as he sat down himself,

"No, no. I just wanted to check-in. Today marks a week since you have been back, and I haven't had much time to catch up with you until now."

I let out the breath I was holding unconsciously, "Oh alright." I paused to think before answering, if I didn't give him a proper answer he could send me home, and I haven't been home in weeks. "I am doing well, I have had Spencer to help me along the way. My wound doesn't hurt anymore, and I did attend my Doctors appointment which I am sure you already know,"

"That sounds like you're doing well."

"I am." I gave him a soft smile,

"I do have to ask though," Hotch adjusted in his seat and pulled out a file, "When's the last time you have been to your apartment?"

I suddenly started to panic, and he noticed, "Did someone break-in?" I asked, on the verge of hyperventilating.

"No, no, no. I had sent Morgan to go check on you the other day and he noticed your car wasn't there, so I may have talked with your landlord..."
