"Why are you doing this to me?" I yelled. Tears were streaming down my face and I couldn't feel my hands. If he didn't untie me soon the blood might stop altogether.

"Oh, my darling, how I have missed you." The tall man coughed, "Just because I am older than the last time I saw you, doesn't mean I can't do the same things I used to. I know you missed me Bug.

I cried, shutting my eyes hoping that would make him go away, but it didn't, he was still resting his hand on my thigh, and I was still tied up in this rusty old chair.

__________

48 Hours earlier.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, good thing I didn't sleep through it his time. As I got ready I recalled the events from last night, I looked at my phone and noticed Spencer had texted me,

'Y/n, I need to speak with you.' I sighed, turning off my phone. As I continued to get ready I felt more and more guilty about what I had done to him, I wish we could go back to normal, but I know it'll never be the same.

As I threw on my shoes and grabbed my go-bag I heard my phone go off, I walked over to my dresser where I had left it and opened it, another text from Spencer.

'Talk to me when you're ready.'

"Shit, I left the read receipts on," I said out loud. I sighed and turned them off quickly, and then grabbed a spare jacket. I walked out the door to my car, being blinded by the sun. After I got inside my car I put on sunglasses and set my bag down in the seat next to me. I sighed remembering the days that Spencer would sit in that seat, as we drove the open road, music blaring. A tear fell down my face and I quickly wiped it away. Turning on the car, I started speeding to the crime site.

"Agent Y/n, glad you're on time today," Hotch said as I arrived onto the scene.

"Bright and early." I looked around and saw neither Emily nor Spencer were here yet.

"Emily is picking up Spencer, they'll be here shortly. In the meantime, we have another victim. This one is older and was just found last night, there was another note."

"Where's the note?" I asked Hotch handed me the note,

'My bug. I have missed you. You looked so pretty in that outfit. I am glad you made friends. I will be with you again soon my darling, my breath on your neck as I squeeze the life out of you once more. There are some pretty lakes nearby, like the one we used to live by. Why don't you come to visit me sometime my bug, see you soon.'

"This is old?" My eyebrows furrowed, this seemed so familiar but no matter what I couldn't place my finger on it.

"A few weeks according to the ME." Hotch took the note back and looked at it again.

"He isn't making any sense in these notes, the only thing I can tell is that he's getting more aggressive. He went from drowning women to hanging them."

"From what I can tell he's getting closer to his target. Someone with radical behavior is prone to go after their main focal point after a little bit of time has passed, as watching them doesn't get them off anymore." Spencer chimes in. I turn to look behind me and he looks down, avoiding eye contact with me.

"Spencer! I could use your help over here!" I heard Nancy call him and I got mad again, my face started heating up and I looked at her. She was waving him over with a huge smile on her face. I felt Emily's hand on my shoulder and I looked back at her.
