Chapter 15

I hug my self as the cold wind of night embrace me. It touch my skin, cheeks and hair.

I am spending my time reflecting and unwinding. Well, I'm thinking ngayon lang 'to dahil pinasama ko si Maddox sa mga kaibigan niya.

"Maddox pare wanna go with us tonight?"

"Where?"

"Sa bar!"

"I can't come."

"Why?"

"I don't wanna leave Aviana."

"Oh come on, Avi won't run away. Sumama ka na."

"Hindi ka na nga halos sumasama saamin."

"I'm busy."

"Sus! Puro lang naman si Aviana ang tinatrabaho mo."

"Can you just shut up?"

Nang mapansin kong napantig ang tenga ni Maddox ay agad konh hinaplos ang dibdib niya at kinausap siya.

"You can join them, Maddox."

"I don't want to. Wala kang kasama sa hotel."

"Then I'll spend my time alone? Hm, how about I let you drink with your friends and you let me unwind, with myself. You know Maddox, you're friends were right. Hindi ka na sumasama sa kanila. Ano ba naman 'yong pagbigyan mo sila kahit minsan lang? Besides, magkasama naman tayo sa bahay mo."

When he just stared at me I initiated a kiss. A kiss that would tell him I'll be fine. And successfully after kissing this good kisser he smiled at me.

"Promise me you'll be safe and promise me you're here when I'll be back."

"Maddox, iniisip mo ba ang sinabi ng kaibigan mo na I won't runaway? If yes, stop thinking about it. I know I tried escaping from you house, pero noon 'yon when I wasn't in love with you. Do you think gusto ko pang takbuhan ka kung ikaw lang ang gusto kong makasama?"

And telling him those words made him feel at ease. Natutuwa akong makita na excited itong nag bihis at nag-ayos upang bumaba ng hotel.

And now, I'm spending my time looking at the night version of sea. The waves were calm, I can say that it goes with the wind and I'm quiet enjoying the view.

"Hi!"

Agad akong napalingon sa likod ko ng marinig ko ang boses na 'yon.

A woman approach me, she's holding a baby boy that I think aged 1 year old.

"Uhm hi?" Alanganin kong tugon.

The woman is so beautiful. She has this fair skin and long hair. Mukhang nakita ko na nga din ito e, I just can't remember where.

"May kailangan ka ba?" I ask, baka kasi may kailangan ito saakin. A shell?

"Nothing, I just saw you that's why greeted you. Wala ka bang kasama? A beauty like you shouldn't left alone. Alam mo bang maraming lalaking mayayaman dito? Nasaan ba ang boyfriend mo ng mapagsabihan ko."

A chuckle escape from my lips. I find her adorable. Tumayo ako mula sa pagkakaupo sa malaking bato at hinawakan ko ang kamay ng baby niya.

"Hello cutie..." bati ko dito, the baby look at me and giggle.

"Mukha nagustuhan ka ng anak ko."

I smile.

"E ikaw? Nasaan ang asawa mo? Alam mo bang ang ganda ganda mo, even when you're holding a baby a rich man would droll over you."
