Chapter 11

Hindi mawala sa isipan ko ang mga sinabi ni manang Lottie. Is it possible for Maddox to be in love with me too? Maski ako ay naguguluhan, hindi ko naman mabasa kung may pagtingin din 'to saakin e.

At ano naman ngayon kung meron nga Aviana? You aren't bound to be with each other. He's marrying Victoria!

Right, he's marrying Victoria.

Napakagat labi ako ng maalala 'yon. Ano ba 'tong pinapasok ko?

Nag-iisip ka ba Aviana? Matapos niyong magpakasarap iiwan ka rin ni Maddox, kasi pipiliin niya si Victoria.

"Are you ready?"

Nagulat ako ng biglang nagsalita si Maddox. He's wearing a simple jeans with a simple statement shirt.

His hair is messy pero it still looks good with him. Napaka unfair naman ng mundo, why does he still look handsome?

I bite my lips and stand up. Inayos ko ang palda ng suot kong bohemian dress at agad na tumango.

"Saan ba tayo pupunta?"

Hindi siya sumagot, sa halip ay lumapit siya saakin at inakbayan ako.

He started walking kaya nagpatiunod na lamang ako. I felt my hands trembling with him so close to me. I can feel his warmth, I can feel his muscle pressing on my shoulders. I can hear his breathing and above all I can see his face so close, those mesmerizing eyes whenever I have the courage to look up to him.

Early this morning he woke me up and told me to prepare dahil aalis kami. Iyon lang ang sinabi niya at ako naman ay naiwang tulala. I've been thinking if the date he was talking about is this.

At kung oo, napakagat ako ng labi sa isiping 'yon. My cheeks are burning, for sure, I'm blushing.

Gusto ko mang tapikin ang pisngi ko pero minabuti ko na lamang na hindi na. We keep on walking hanggang sa makasalubong namin si manang Lottie.

"Mag-ingat kayo!"

She said and she winked at me, natameme naman ako dahil sa inaktong 'yon ni manang. She was even pressing her two pointy finger while giggling at me.

I breathe in and just nodded my head at here.

Nang makalabas kami ng bahay ay inihatid niya ako sa passengers seat. He even put my seat belt and mind you, I was really holding my breath as he does it, sobrang lapit  mukha niya na naaamoy ko na ang buhok niya.

Gustong-gusto ko nga sanang haplusin ang buhok nito pero naunahan ako ng hiya.

"Are you okay?"

Namilog ang mga mata ko ng magtanong si Maddox noon, kumunot ang noo niya at sinalat ang noo at leeg ko.

"Masama ba ang pakiramdam mo, Aviana?"

I questioned him using my eyes.

"You look so red, not that red but still it's not your usual self. Are you okay? Masama bang pakiramdam mo? We can cancel this breakfast if you want."

Agad akong napahawak sa mukha ko at mabilisang umiling.

"H-hindi no! Okay lang ako!"

I don't know why I sounded so defensive. Tumaas pa ang boses ko sa pagsagot dito. Maybe because I found my situation really awkward.

Maddox shrugged his shoulders.

"If that so, let me do this."

I looked at what he is referring. Kinalas niya ang mga kamay kong nakahawak sa mukha ko. He hold my hands using his and then he kiss me both on my cheeks. I even blushed more!
