Once I get home, I type the number into my phone and make them a contact. 

Eddie : Hey

Gaege : Who tf is this

Eddie : Your mom

Gaege : Mom? After all these years? You've come back

Eddie : Lol, it's Eddie

Gaege : That's what I thought

Eddie : Great mom joke

Gaege : Lots of random numbers text me, of course I've come up with a funny joke to come along with it

Eddie : Why'd you leave me your number?

Gaege : Well, I have to pay you back for looking after me. I was thinking dinner. You, me? And I sort of needed your number to get a hold of you so

Eddie : Are you asking me out for a date? 

Gaege : I already know you're straight, so that's a no go. I was asking you to dinner to repay you

Gaege : How big is your ego that your mind goes straight to that

Eddie : Well, there's no need to ask me to dinner. It would have been very rude of me to just leave you wasted on the side of the street

Gaege : So very gentlemanly

Eddie : You're welcome

Gaege : And I'm still taking you to dinner. You pick the place and text me when you've decided

Eddie : Bossy aren't you?

Gaege : I think I get the right to be

Eddie : And why is that?

Gaege : Annoying aren't you?

Eddie : Fair

Gaege : Text me when you've decided

I shut my phone off and try to decide where to eat. I rule out any place with a bar because I don't want him getting either us drunk. And no place where I know any of the workers. So that basically leaves Olive Garden. And they have good bread sticks so I guess it's a win win.

Eddie : Olive Garden

Gaege : No

Eddie : What do you mean no? You told me to chose where to eat! And I did!

Gaege : I'm just messing with you. See you tonight?

Eddie : Yes

I roll my eyes and shut off my phone again. He is bold over text.
