Chapter 6: new tries

Mack's POV

I walked inside my house after coming home and I saw Cameron eating food.

I looked at him, and hugged him with a smile on my face.

"Hey Cameron!" I said

"Hey, what's up?"

"Well nothing really, I'm gonna go watch a movie." i said

"Good idea."

I walked upstairs and looked at my shelf to see which movie I should watch.

I grabbed one and the shelf fell, and hit my head.

"Cameron hit me." I told my mom

I opened my eyes and got up.

"Cameron hit me." i said to myself

I walked downstairs and looked him in the eyes.

I got scared again.

Tears formed in my eyes.

I was living with a maniac.

"Are you okay Mack?" He asked

"No."

"What's wrong?" He asked

"How could I be okay, if I live with my brother who hit me."

He remained silent.

I saw my mom walk in and she looked at both of us.

"Guys, everything's okay." My mom said

I walked past her outside and sat on my front porch.

I looked at my phone and saw tweets, and tweets coming at me.

I looked up and saw Hayes.

"Hey bestfriend." I said

"Hey, how's it going?"

"Boring." I said

"Wanna grab some pizza?" He asked blushing

"Oh my god. Hayes."

"Wrong time?" He said

"Hayes, is this a, is this a date!"

He laughed and and nodded his head.

"Okie let me go get some money."

"No, I shall pay." he said

I gave him a are-you-serious-look.

I walked inside and put a hoodie on and then grabbed my purse.

"So what's up?" He said interlocking his hand with mine

"Nothing really. Just remembered my brother hit me but it's really no big deal anymore. I mean sure in scared of him a little but, oh well."

He looked at me like he was shocked.

"What? You said 'what's up' so I responded with my feelings."

"Yea." he said laughing

We walked until we got there in silence.

We sat at the table and then I saw a Maddie coming towards Hayes.

Of course Maddie was going to mess this up.

"Hey Mack." she said

I didn't respond to her.

She sat next to hayes, and all she was wearing was a tank top and short shorts.

Then she purposely dropped her spoon and went down to pick it up, which revealed her butt crease.

Hayes looked for a second but then looked away.

She sat back up and touched Hayes' face.

"Wow, you have such a smooth face. And beautiful eyes." she said

I got up and walked out.

I took a look back in the window and saw them kissing.

It may have been forceful, but it still happened.

You can't change the past, even though it happened right before your eyes.
