Chapter 7: meanings

(The dress she wears)

Mack's POV

I walked home and sat in my room.

I pulled out my homework and started writing an essay, because that's what we do in AP english.

It honestly didn't bother me that Madison made out with Hayes.

It wasn't the first time anyways.

I heard a knock at my door and it was Cameron.

"Hey Mack, look I promise that what I did was shocking to me. I don't know what happened to me, but I promise it won't happen again."

"It's okay." I said

"Are you feeling okay? You look really pale."

"Yea, I'm fine." i said

"Well, we're going out to dinner so get dressed."

"Where are we going?" I asked

"I'm pretty sure a Chinese buffet, its for moms job."

"I always get bored when I go there." I said

He shrugged and walked out.

Sometimes he so sweet, and sometimes he is so mean.

I laughed a little.

I got up and walked to my bathroom.

Concealer, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and a little blush.

My hair was already curly so I just brushed it the tiniest amount.

I walked to my closet and wore a knee length black lace white dress, with some flats.

We got there and I saw Hayes with his friends.

I sat across from Cameron at a different table and we talked.

"Wassup?" He asked

"Nothing."

"Me too, wanna order anything?"

"Oh my god they have Mac and cheese!" I said

"Haha yea, I'll order that."

I don't really know why Cameron has always been so nice to me honestly he's just the best brother anybody could ask for.

"So, we are going on 26 mgmt trips now." he said

"Oh, where you going first?"

"We are going to Ohio, then Nee York, Idaho, Maryland, and a lot other." he said

"That's great!"

"Yea, and I want you to come." he said

"Look, Cameron i would love to come but I know Hayes is in this group too. We aren't really on the best terms-"

"Mack, you don't have to stay with him, I just think that you should meet your fans too!" He said

I silently ate until mom said we were leaving.

Mom was talking to those business men outside while Cameron went to get the car.

I waited alone, until Hayes came.

"Hey Mack."

"Hi." I said

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure." I said

"Why does it even matter that other girls kiss me, when we aren't even a couple anymore?"

"Well, you said it was a date." I said

"But all the other times?"

"I loved you." I said and got in the car
