Mackenzie's POV

I walked inside and grabbed Alexa's hand.

"I should've done this, years ago." I said and slapped her face

She looked at me straight in the eyes.

"You think you can get away with this?"

"And do you think you can get away from showing everyone that embarrassing video? When I was like 8?" I asked

She shut her mouth and walked back up the stage stairs

"Sorry for the delay everyone. But if you would like to change your prom votes from Mackenzie Dallas to Alexa Grier!" She said and winked

Nobody moved.

I slightly pushed Alexa offend she tripped on the cord for the microphone falling into the crowd.

I walked up to the microphone and said,

"The prom king is, Hayes Grier." I say and everyone is cheering

"And the prom queen, is everyone." I said

Everyone was confused,

"I know that almost every single one of you has had a crush on Hayes Grier. And I want each and every one of you to dance with him tonight."

I saw this girl blush and smile very hard.

I didn't need to dance with Hayes, I just wanted everyone to enjoy him.

I walked out of the school and walked home, I didn't live too far.

I started to cross the street looking both ways until *bam* a car hits me.

I can't feel my leg and my whole wrist hurts.

The person gets out of this car and walks over to me.

"I'm so sorry, I am such a reckless driver." They said

I got up and turned around,

"Anthony?" I asked

The last person I wanted to see, I thought.

He looked at me in the eyes and smiled,

"Why are you walking all alone on prom night?" He asked

"Because I'm trying to be the bigger person."

"Do you wanna crash at my place?" He asked

I opened my mouth and was about to say yes please, but my brain said no.

"No thanks but could yo-"

"Mackenzie. What are you doing here?" I heard a voice

I turned around and saw Cameron, not fucking Cameron oh my god.

Anthony, right in front of me, Cameron, right behind me.

WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO

I walked over to Cameron and said,

"Prom ended ear-"

"No prom's still going on." He said

"I just wanna go ho-"

"Sorry bud! I'm taking my little sister to prom!" Cameron yelled

Anthony waved bye and walked back in his car.

"Cameron I don't wanna go!" I said

"Why not! It's junior prom you should have great memories!"
