"Okay DM someone on Instagram" Carrie dared. "What no way, last time I did that I got a boyfriend and now I have a boyfriend and I dont know how much he would appreciate me dming someone else on Instagram" I said honestly not caring what Nick thought just not wanting to do it. "Julie he dms girls on instagram all day, he literally cant be mad" Carrie said rolling her eyes. "I- What?!" I said. "Carrie-" Flynn said shaking her head. "Im sorry but Julie youre so oblivious. Hes texted every girl at our school." Carrie said. I pulled out my phone. "Please dont call him and tell him I told you. im sorry" Carrie said. I rolled my eyes. "Im not, im just doing the dare" I sighed and scrolled through instagram. "this is boring lets just give you an initial, you search it and you can scroll down and click a random one" Flynn said. "ooooh thats smart" I said going to the sesarch bar. "hmmmmm what about.... M" Carrie said. "What no M? seriously? so she can end up with a Martin or a Marvin? (not that theres anything wrong with people named Martin or Marvin😭) No way.. what about.. L" Flynn said. I nodded and scrolled and clicked on a random account. "Oh shoot let me go again this ones a girl" I laughed. "So?" Flynn smirked. (thats right im doing this deal with it) Carrie and I laughed and looked at Flynn "Wait youre into girls to?" Carrie asked. Flynn laughed and then froze "To? what do you mean to?" Flynn asked intrigued. "Flynn weve known each other our entire lives and you havent noticed Im bi?" Carrie said laughing. "good to know" Flynn said causing Carrie to smirk. I knew it! I knew they liked each other, they proabably just dont want to ruin our little friend group weve got here. I scrolled again. "hmm what do we have here... Lucas Patterson small town guitarist, and singer high school grad..." I countinued reading in my head. "Guys! he graduated at a school like an hour from here that means we dont live far right?" I said smiling. "break up with your boyfriend before you propose to this guy" Flynn said laughing. I dm'd Luke way to excitedly

"Heyy im Julie!"

to much? to little? is this okay?" I asked. "Julie chill out you still have a boyfriend even if hes a dick" Carrie said. "What you have sounds fine just send it already" Flynn said giggling.

Lukes POV-

After texting Poppy I laid on the couch "no more girl drama" I whispered to myself. Then My phone dinged, I clicked on it. A dm? intresting. "heyy im julie!" I read. I responded

"Hey im Luke :) "

I instagram stalked her while I waited for a response.. Wow shes really beautiful. "Luke you just dumped your girlfriend of almost 3 years you can not get into a relationship with some girl youre talking to on Instagram. youve said a total of 6 words to each other calm down" I whispered to myself. Then another ding...

"What are you up to?"

she asked. I smiled and responded with
"nothing just getting settled into my new apartment"

"oh thats cool! Not to sound weird but I noticed some of your music posts and I think youre really good. :)"

I smiled at this. Shes beautiful and she seems kind.
(She's beautiful, she looks kind, she probably gives you butterflies- I'm sorry I have a problem 😭)

This could be something. Luke you just met this girl wtf calm down.
"aww thank you that means a lot! Are you into music as well?" I asked

"Yeah I like to sing and play piano sometimes"

And shes a musician? damn-

We talked all night and got to know each other a lot. One thing that didnt come up was the whole "living in England" thing. welp thats another days problem right...
