Chapter 10

The people just started to arrive, the servants stated serving the drinks, and the music was playing in the background. Everything was going as Mrs. Campbell planed it, everything was running smoothly. Upstairs in Aaron's bedroom, Aaron said to her older sister "Wow, I didn't notice that you were pretty." Both Shain and Aaron looked at them selves in the mirror inspecting their dresses and make up. Then, Aaron squealed suddenly and said "But I look like a princess." Shain rolled her eyes at her sister "I'm going downstairs".

"no wait, you have to wait for your descend."

"what the hell are you talking about?"

" your descend down the stairs, there is this one movie were the pretty ugly girl who becomes pretty, coincidence I think not. Anyways, when she becomes pretty she has this moment when she walks down the stairs after her makeover, slowly, and everybody sees how pretty she is. The moment Charley sees your descend, he is going to fall head over heals for you."

Aaron ignoring her sister's comments "you have to walk really slowly yet elegantly like you're walking in slow motion that will give him time to realize that he is falling in love with you."

" you should watch the news once in a while it will pop your little bubble that you have been living in since the day you were born."

As Shain started to leave her younger sister called after her "wait you didn't put any highlight." Shain looked back confused "I did" Aaron walked up to her sister and started adding more highlighter on her sister's face "well not enough." Shain pushed her sister aside before she can add the third layer of that shiny, shimmery powder on her face and left the room. Then Aaron retorted after her "god you're way too ungrateful to deserve such an amazing sister like me."

After half an hour Aaron finally went to join the party. Shain and Shay were standing across from the stairs sipping on cocktails. Shay began "what is your sister doing?" Shain replyed before taking another sipping from her drink "her descend." Aaron was passing her cousin and sister to join her other cousins when she said to them "Hello peasants." Shay gahsped, appalled, then said "that girl is going to get it good some day and I'm sure this is all because of Nate's bad influence." Shain casually replied "She has always been like this way before she met him."

Just then Charles walked towards the two cousins "Hey ladies." Shay winked at Shain and before walking away said "Ill give you guys some privacy."

When Shay was out of earshot Shain and Charles turned to each other and Shain began "What is it?"

Charles responded confused "Why is every one looking at me weirdly and congratulating me?"

"well, I might have told mom that we are dating, and she might have told dad, and he might have told grandma Fifi."

Charles retorted fearful "Oh my god! Now if we don't act for all the guests like we are together, our cover will be blown; and Shay will find out. You just had to tell your mom, and your dad had to tell grandma Fifi, and everyone knows grandma Fifi's big mouth."

Shain offended warned him "Hey watch it that's my grandma you're talking about..."

One of Shain's father's friends was passing by and saw them talking "hey guys congratulation we always knew you two were a match made in heaven."

Shain faked a smile and whispered to Charley "oh my god everyone knows now."

Then one of Charles uncles passed by and decided to congratulate the happy couple "congratulation Charlie I still think Shain is way out of your league but you two deserve each other and all the best. When is the wedding by the way?"
