Chapter 7

Around 2 in the afternoon on Friday, Aaron was heading home from her class. While walking down the street of her neighborhood she receives a text from Nathen.

Nate: hi <3

Aaron: hey

Nate: how r u

Aaron: good u

Nate: good

Nate: do u have any plans this Tuesday

Aaron: u mean on Halloween

Nate: ya

Aaron: not yet

Nate: my friend is having a party...wanna be my date

Aaron: sure

Nate: pick you up at 9

Aaron: btw what are you wearing?

Nate: don't know yet

Nate: Do you have any costume ideas?

Aaron: I was thinking of being wonder women

Aaron: But everyone wants to be her this year

Nate: how about you dress up as the little mermaid u said u liked the movie

Aaron: Arial..

Nate: and i will be u prince ;)

Aaron: NATHAN!!

Aaron: stop it im blushing

Aaron: lets do it

Aaron: But we don't have a lot of time we have to go shopping tomorrow

Nate: Lets grab lunch tomorrow and then shop

Aaron: ok...C u then

It was Halloween and Aaron's roommates were going to a frat party. They all dressed up in costumes then left around the same time that Nathen came to pick Aaron up. Aaron and Nathen went to his friend's party, she was nervous to meet his friends for the first time. Since she was one of the under aged people there, they left around 12. Nathen took her to his favorite diner. When they arrived they ordered one ice-cream Sunday and two chocolate milkshakes. They sat at on one of those cute cozy booths like in the movies. While waiting for their orders to arrive they started talking and learning more about each others interests, and  how much they have in common. Like, how they both love the show supernatural, or how much they both like superhero movies. When their order arrived Nathen asked, "why does Shay love to get involved in who your sister's dating? I just don't get it"

Laughing at his sudden question, Aaron responded, "You don't get it. She won't get involved unless Shain wanted her"

Confused, Nathen replied, "That's not what I heard from Shain. She's been giving me an earful of how Shay only does what she wants"

Trying to clear everything up, Aaron started "well it all started 8 years ago"

Nathen, surprised "what do you mean; she has been setting Shain up with Charlie for 8 years now"

Aaron giggled at his ridiculous response, then replied "no. I'll just start from the beginning. This is how it all started"

8 years ago Aarons POV

"Wake up. You are late." I woke up to these words ringing in my head. "Aaron it is already 8" when I heard those words I knew it was still 6 am. I kept my eyes closed and responded "stop lying. If it was 8, mom would be here". Then she responded again like every day "Aaron please wake up. Your mama will be angry." So I said what I say every day  "wake me up at 6:30". It was like a broken record with us. For as long as I could remember Lena, my childhood nanny, and I would argue in the morning.
