Chapter 6

Shay, Johnny, Shain and Charles arrive at the carnival. They walked around and played some of those mini games. Shay insisted that they play in teams with her and Johnny in a team and the "new couple" in the other team. Charlie won some of the games for Shain and got her a small stuffed toy. Which had Shay and Johnny squealing. The group had some ice-cream and chocolate covered strawberries. "Guys, lets go to the horror house" Shay said excitedly. Shain started shaking her head no since her mouth was full with strawberry. "come on it will be fun" Shay insisted. " speak for yourself" Johnny scuffed while continuing eating his ice-cream. Shay elbowed his side discretely tying to remind him of their plan. "ouch" Johnny whispered as he rubbed his sides " don't be a party pooper lets just try it, and besides Charles is her to keep you safe" Shay added "Right Charlie?" Charlie looked up from his ice-cream not really paying attention to what they were saying and replied "huh... Yes of course." Shain gave him a shocked look not liking where this was going.

They all headed to the horror house and were waiting in line. Shain never liked horror houses especially the ones where you had to walk around and have people run behind you. The waiting alone was killing her and Charlie had to hold her by his side to keep her from running away. Shay mentioned that they had to inter in pairs so she offered Charlie and Shain to go first and said they were right behind them. Shain didn't believe her so Johnny asked the guy working there and he said that it was true. As soon as the couple went in Shay slipped the guy standing by the door some money and stepped out of the line with Johnny. " The plan is in motion" Shay said mostly to herself as they walked to their next phase of the plan.

In the horror house

Shain clung to Charlies side and kept her eyes closed. "why haven't Johnny and your cousin come in yet." Charlie asked. "I don't know and don't care let's just get out of this hell whole" replied Shain squeezing him tighter when they heard another scream which made Charlie laugh " you're adorable" he said and continued to look for the exit.

Shay and Johnny went back to the car to get their disguises on to spy on the couple after they get out of the horror house. Shay putting on her blond wig "Johnny hand me that pink fur coat" Johnny handed her the coat and put on a matching blond wig. "you are not warring that, you will stand out, just stick to the hat" Shay said. Johnny offended "honey I was not born to blend in" Shay rolling her eyes as she wore her glittery cowboy boots.

Johnny really wanted to wear that matching blond wig but Shay didn't let him, so he settled for a black bob. "God. JOHNNY! Just finish up already before they get out of the horror house" Shay wanted him to only wear a hat, but he was out of her control at this point. He wore his favorite fur coat and added binoculars on his neck. " ok, I'm done" he posed for her. Shay looked at him weirdly "We don't need those we have our phones" "Girl it completes the look" He said as a matter of fact as they made their way back to the center of the carnival. "Wait, let's take a picture first" Johnny said excitedly "OMG, yes!" Shay replied.

After the two got their selfie, they hid by the horror house exit and as soon as Shain and Charlie walked out of the door. They started taking pictures of the couple. Shay loved how close they looked and how Charlie took care of Shain. The couple tried looking for Shay and Johnny but they couldn't find them, so the just decided to play a couple of games instead. Shay and Johnny kept following them around from a safe distance and documenting all the cute moments the couple shared.

After getting enough pictures, an argument arose between Shay and Johnny because he started live streaming right then and there. Charlie heard the familiar voices and noticed an odd looking pair. A girl with bright blond hair and a skinny man with a weird haircut. "Shain are those the same people we came with?" asked Charlie. Shain looked at them and recognized them. "SHAY...Shay" Shain called out for her cousin. In panic, the two match makers start speed walking, in attempt to lose them. Shay spotted the Farris Wheel line moving at a fast pace. She knew that she can lose them if they got on. She yanked Johnny with her and stood in line. She turned behind her to make sure that Shain or Charlie were not there, and to her surprise she spotted them and as they were making their way to them. Just then it was Shay and Johnny's turn and they run up to their basket. Finally, they lost them.

After one turn the wheel stopped with Johnny and Shay's compartments at the top. Shay decided she wanted to take a video of the view for he Instagram story. While moving the phone to get a wide shot of the whole place she noticed a familiar face on the side of the shot. She zoomed into the basket next to theirs as her plastic long nails clicked on the screen every time she zoomed in closer. It was Nathen. He was laughing and leaning in to kiss a girl. The girl gave her back to them, so they couldn't see her face. Shay noticed the girl's hand resting on Nathen's shoulder. She zoomed in closer and saw that the girl was wearing a Dior bracelet. The bracelet was gold and had one pearl. She knew exactly who that little girl was. Infuriated Shay screeched "AAARrrOOoooooooonnn"

Aaron and Nathen jumped. Aaron looked back surprised to hear her name and made eye contact with her cousin. She ducked and pulled Nathan with her trying to hide. "We can still see you." Johnny yelled at them. Aaron and Nathan came off of the Farris wheel trying to escape but they were caught by her sister and Charlie. And then came Shay and Johnnies turn to come off of the game, they made their way to the rest.

"Aaron how could you lie and sneak around behind my back." Shay said. "She learned from the best" Shain rolling her eyes. "don't be talking to my best friend with that attitude" Johnny snapped as he was fixing his hair behind his ears. "thanks best friend" Shay retorted.

"you two are out of control." Snapped Shain. "I'm gonna deal with you later. I need to have a talk with this little girl" Shay said pointing to Aarons direction, but when she glanced over she was not there. Shay gasped "Little girl, LITTLE GIRL, LITTLE GIRL." Johnny dramatically gasped, while spinning around looking for Aaron as his wig twirled and flu with him in the wind "She escaped!"

As the two dramatically ran around looking for Aaron, Shain had had enough "Charlie lets just leave." Shain said as she tugged on his hand.

After everyone left, Johnny and Shay went back to their car. Shay still pissed about Aarons actions. "your plan worked, they did leave together" Johnny trying to lift her mood.

"This is only phase one of the plan"

"well I have a surprise for you." He said excitedly as he handed her his phone with a picture of Shain and Charlie holding hands as they were leaving. Shay shrieked happily.
