The door closed shut as footsteps were heard from the living room. Scott had finally come home from school. Wasn't really a surprise, since he goes and comes back every day of the year. But, it was something to always look forward to from Arielle.

Arielle Lee, Scott Lee's 9 year old sister. Hair wad a medium-length, dark brown, and her blue eyes glowed bright with child-like wonder. She was an excitable young girl, and had loved her brother very much, no matter how many fights they've had. Scott had always commented that she was 'stuck to him like glue', since she was practically everywhere that Scott was.. socially at least; and for every second she was there, it was to nag and have fun with her older brother. He might've hated it, but she was a-okay!

"Hiii Scott!" Ariel exclaims as she proceeds to immediately try to jump on her brother's back (as if his backpack wasn't enough weight).

"OW!- Hey! I told you to stop doing that! Just... give me a quick minute and...I'll come play with you right after, 'kay?" He says as he scarcely drops his school bag, along with his little sister, onto the floor. He always hated surprise attacks like that; usually he would freeze on the spot and start to crumble, but living with his sister for 9 years, he knew how to deal with her just fine.

"You say that then just go on your computer to talk to your friends!" Arielle whines and begins to pout.  She was very much telling the truth, but it's not like he was ever going to admit it. Why would he? "Pretty pleaaaaseeeee?"

" I promise okay? Scouts honor!" Scott responds as he puts his hand across his chest, along with his other hand, holding 3 fingers up.

"You never even did-" Arielle was cut off immediately when the door wa slammed on her. She began to groan and fold her arms. Guess the begging tactic she saw in tv shows didn't work. Computer; 1, Arielle; 0.

'My brother is so weird. What is he doing in his room that's so important anyway?!' Ariel thought, her frustration growing. All she wanted to do was to play and nag her older brother, maybe show him a game on her computer, but it seemed like he was too busy for that as well..

Arielle decided that she had to find out what was going on.. even if it meant she had to be a little nosy.

She tiptoes through the hallway and stops around the corner with little to no sound as possible. She then tries to turn the doorknob as quietly as she could.. multiple nights of midnight snacking without her parents knowing had trained her well with doorknobs. She could totally be a lock picker! But she won't.. cause that's bad. Duh.

Once she heard the small click in the knob, she silently hissed her success, as she slowly pushes the door open. Not too wide, but wide enough for her to get a good view of her brother's room, and her brother of course..

She takes small glances around the room, seeing the usual stuff; his laptop, his dorky stacks of book series, small figurines from a tv show, his bed, him writing in a book on the bed- wait..

'Writing in a book on the bed? This is new..' Arielle thought, focusing on her brother to see what he was exactly doing.
