Bianca was in her room, reading an old book that she got from her Mom's bookshelf in her room. She was reading it while going back and forth, studying an artifact that she found when she went on one of her monster adventures. She normally did this for a living on the weekends and on her summer vacations.
Her first adventure had resulted in her missing for a week. Her mother was in the hospital at the time, so she was probably VERY worried. Bianca told them that she was lost around the city for about a week with the others, Tristan, Scott and Anthony. But other than that, she hasn't suspected a thing about the adventures.
Bianca had been in her room for about two hours, studying the book and understanding the artifact, when her mother knocked on her door about twice. Bianca heard it and turned up her head to see her mother with her hair in a ponytail.
Ms. Maywoods:"Hey darling! How have you been? You've been in your room for two hours."
Bianca managed to hide the artifact under the tabletop before her mother can see. She really couldn't let her mother see it.
Bianca:"Oh! I-I was just reading the book that was in your room! It-It's really interesting, you know!"
Ms. Maywoods:"That's nice, but, I don't really think you can read well upside down.."
Bianca turned to the book, she was holding it upside down in her hands.
Bianca:"Ahaha...yeah, sorry..." She flipped the book back over, laughing awkwardly.
Ms. Maywoods:"Anyway, you ready for lunch? Your uncle wants to talk to you on the phone also!"
Bianca:"Okay!" She got up from the table and walked into the dining room, leaving the book and the artifact. There was also some monster parts under the table.
Bianca's mom smiled as she went on her way to take out some chicken from the plate in the kitchen.
Jessica's POV
I was very surprised that she was reading one of my books from my shelf. Those books were given to me by my father, so it was probably from the 1800-1900's. She's been reading those books from about a month ago, I wonder what she's using them for.
I look around the room for a little bit, looking at all the pictures we ever took together when she was small. I also had some pictures as well of us, those memorable moments will stay with me forever.
The thing was, I really missed Christopher as well....
Oh Christopher.....
If only you were here right now, you could have seen our baby girl grow.
It was really unfortunate when I heard that he didn't survive the mission. I cried for weeks! I didn't really think I could raise her all on my own, but, she's doing just fine.
I'm really sure she appreciates everything I do for her, and I appreciate everything she does for me as well, especially when I was in the hospital. I mean, she even tried to make money to pay off my hospital bills!
I then see something glowing under the table, I know I'm not supposed to sneak around her room if I ever find anything private, but...I really wanted to investigate.
