What's The Difference?

Third Person POV

It has been two weeks since Anthony had come into the Mackingtosh family, and they all quickly accepted him as a family member, it was pretty quick as well! Brooklyn Mackingtosh and Lucas Mackingtosh and really pampered him a lot, since he's never really experienced a good home life for such a long time.

Molly had really favored him as well. She would always want to play with him and would get really excited all around him. It would make Anthony uncomfortable from time to time, especially when she hugged him a lot.

The oldest though, Elliot, was sort of confusing, he would seem to like him one minute, and then would just be uncomfortable with him the next minute. Their relationship is pretty rocky right now at the moment.

June 12th 20XX

All of them were sitting at the table for breakfast, none of the children had the time to shower yet for the say, so their hair was very messy and they all had on their pajamas. The kids were all eating cereal, and the parents were having some sandwiches.

Elliot: "I'm done with my bowl Dad." He says, getting up from the table.

Mr. Mackingtosh (Lucas): "Alright, if you don't mind, can you clean up everyone else's dishes as well please?" He says while reading on his phone.

Elliot does what his father says and goes around the table to pick up all the dishes. Anthony was about to fall asleep until he was woken up by hearing Elliot take his bowl. He somehow quickly got paranoid and began to speak in a stuttering tone.

Anthony: "U-Um, thank you- you." He says, stuttering a lot. Elliot raises an eyebrow confused on what he just said.

Elliot: "Why are you saying thank you? I'm literally picking up your bowl." He says with an eyebrow raised out of confusion.

Anthony: "Oh- sorry- it's uh- old habits from home..." Anthony says softly. The rest of the family members then began to look at him.

Molly: "Well you don't need to say sorry and thank you for everything, it's okay!" She says with a bright smile on her face.

Anthony: "Ah okay- sorry-" He said, he realized what he just said and began to cover his mouth in embarrassment, the rest of them began to chuckle.

Mrs. Mackingtosh (Brooklyn): "It's really alright dear." She says, smiling at him. Anthony begins to awkwardly smile back.

All of them got up from the dinner table and began their usual day to day activities. Anthony went to go take a shower, Molly went to go play with her dolls, Elliot went to go do the dishes, and their parents went to their usual calls in the morning.

After Anthony was done with his shower, he went to go dry himself off in his room. He then got changed and began to look in the mirror, fixing his hair. He didn't really do much, since he didn't really care about his hair. He then looked for the duck clip that he had kept in a hidden box and put it on. He just made sure that it was hidden so that no one else could see it.

Just then, he heard a knock on the door, he turned around and saw that his older brother, Elliot, was there at the door. He didn't really seem to mind him there much, so he went back to what he was doing. Elliot then got his attention again by knocking on the door, Anthony then finally paid attention to him, wondering what he wanted.

Anthony: "What do you need Elliot?" He says, quite a bit annoyed with his brother, he then realized how he was acting and immediately apologized for his tone.

Elliot: "It's fine, it's fine. Anyways, do you have any towels by any chance?" He asks Anthony. Anthony just looks at him with an eyebrow raised.
