Argument (Adult AU)

The house has been pretty silent for about a few hours, the only thing you would ever hear was the television playing in the living room, which was being watched by the two twins, Sienna and Spencer. Alyssa was with them, reading a book on the couch while their oldest brother is in the kitchen making lunch for them.

The reason why the house was silent was because their mother and father, preferably Tristan and Bianca, had gotten into an argument that has lasted for about a week. They refuse to talk to each other, and whenever they do, it's usually to argue with each other.

The two older siblings tried best to keep their youngest siblings out of the parents' way of their arguments, especially since it's been about a week. Alyssa and Bentley are a bit worried for their parents, and are trying to figure out ways to get everything back to normal.

Both of their parents were out of work at the moment, so they have time to make up a plan to get their parents back together, after they ate though, they can't really think on an empty stomach.

Bentley then came back to the couch with chicken sandwiches, they all sat down on the couch and began to eat. The two twins began to eat happily, whilst Alyssa and Bentley began to talk about the plan to get their parents back in order.

Alyssa: "What can we do?" She says while stuffing a sandwich in her mouth.

Bentley: "I don't know, I know that Mom doesn't really like mushy stuff from Dad, but Dad doesn't want to seem to bland to Mom." He says, still holding the sandwich in his hands.

Sienna: "I know I know!! Mommy really likes those bedrooms with flowers inside them! I heard her say it when we watched a movie once!" She says jumping happily.

Bentley: "She does? Well, I guess we can organize something like that, and say it's from Dad!" He says.

Alyssa: "But what if both of them find out about it, they'll hate each other more." She says, thinking about the outcome.

Spencer: " Maybe you can let Dad come along!" He says.

Right after he said that, door was opened and in came in their father, who looked very miserable in his state, with his eyes very sunken. The four children looked at him with worry as he walked through the house slowly and going into the kitchen.

Alyssa then takes the chance to ask him if he could do it as an apology. She runs into the kitchen after him with a smile.

Tristan: "*yawn* Is there anything that you want Alyssa?" He says, reaching for a cup of coffee, looking very tired.

Alyssa: "Well, the others and I were wondering if you could do something for us?" She says, looking to the side.

Tristan: "Sure, what do you need?" He says, drinking the coffee.

Alyssa: "Well...we were wondering if you can do something for Mom as an apology gift?" She says to him, looking down to the floor.

Tristan: ". . .Firstly, you shouldn't be getting into our business, it's adult stuff you all wouldn't understand. Secondly, even though I really want your mother to apologize to me, I really want her to forgive me as well, so-. . .why not." He says, looking down at the floor. I begin to smile.

Alyssa: "Yes! So- do you know what Mom likes other than bedroom roses?" She says, looking up to him.

Tristan: "Your mother likes bedroom roses? What do you mean by that exactly?" He asks to her in confusion. Alyssa just looks at him in basic disappointment.

Alyssa💭: 'This is gonna take a while...' She says, sighing heavily.
