*Continuation of the chapter Diaries*
Mrs. Lee:"Well!?" She held out her hand, waiting for the book to be put in her hand.
Scott REALLY didn't want to, but he didn't want to get grounded. It wasn't the first time he was, but, it's not really enjoyable.
Scott:"Mom! Please! T-There's really nothing in there-"
Mrs. Lee:"Give it to me, or risk getting grounded! And both of us won't like it, won't we!?" Her tone was really serious now.
Scott didn't have a choice now. He slowly gave up the book in defeat, looking down at the floor in shame.
Meanwhile, Scott's little sister, Ariel, was just looking away behind her mother, whistling.
Scott's mom then took the book, then started to talk to Ariel about stealing Scott's book and snooping in his room.
Ariel:"I'm sorry, Mom..."
She then started to read the 'specific page' Ariel and Scott were fighting about. She was then surprised at what he was writing about. He was clearly writing about a girl, so she could see clearly what was going on.
Scott was looking at the ground, blushing from embarrassment that his mom now knows about his secret.
His mother then started to smile at him, and then started to rub his shoulder.
Mrs. Lee:"Hey, it's alright! This isn't anything to be embarrassed about. This is all natural, and I'm happy that you find a girl that struck your heart."
Scott:"I know...but, I just wasn't comfortable telling you guys about this yet. Especially you both looking through my diary, where I keep all my personal feelings."
Mrs. Lee:"I know...and I'm sorry! I know you have your personal secrets and stuff, that's why I try to stay out of your room most of the time."
Scott:"I mean, thanks for that I guess. Are you going to tell this to Dad?"
Mrs Lee:"Well, I think he would find out eventually, so I thought I would tell him. But, if you don't want me to, that's completely fine!"
Scott:"Thanks Mom!" He then proceeds to hug her."I think I can give you permission to tell him!"
Mrs. Lee:"Oh! You sure?"
Scott:"Mhm!"
Mrs. Lee:"Also, Ariel! You have to apologize to your brother as well! You snooped into his room, and invaded his privacy."
Ariel:"Okay...I'm sorry Scott. I was just wondering what you were writing in there, and I was excited about what you wrote about. I should've thought about how you would feel! I never wanted you to get in trouble!"
Scott:"It's alright! I should probably keep things more private around here. And I'm not in trouble, don't worry!"
The both siblings then hug each other, while the mother started to smile, since they made up.
