3RD PERSON POV
Chaos walked into his palace, obviously tired.
"Did he come?" Talon asked.
"Of course he didn't, Talon!" Huntress punched his arm, "Chaos would've had him if he came!"
"Talon, you really need to analyze things better," Heart added.
"But... But..."
"Guys," Shadow sighed, "We really need to treat him better... He's just a baby."
Everyone began to laugh and Chaos sighed.
"Flame, I'm gonna need you to get them to shut up. Well, at least get your lovely Heart to shut up."
"Hey!"
Flame pulled Heart in for a kiss.
"Aw..." everyone mocked.
"Guys," Fang sighed, "We should really pay attention now before Chaos loses his mind."
"No, he already lost his mind," Arrow snickered.
"I'll give Chaos his aspirin after his head explodes," Med sighed, but a faint smile touched his lips.
"GUYS!" Chaos slammed his hands down on the table, "I searched for 689 years to find this dude, and all of a sudden, he's gone."
"How'd he escape?" Huntress asked.
"I was making my grand entrance when he escaped..." Chaos pouted and everyone burst out laughing again.
"You do realize you just come in, grab his arm, and you're out?"
It was silent.
"F**k. I realize it now."
Chaos then disappeared.
"Even if Chaos is a little... dimwitted at times," Shadow tapped her finger against her chin, "I still wonder how an assassin manages to avoid the most powerful being in the universe all the time."
"I really wanna meet him," Heart said.
"Then," Chaos reappeared, "You guys need to help me catch him."
"What? How?"
"Well, I'm the only one hunting. With you 8 commanders following behind me, I'm sure we'll find him!"
"So... we're gonna split up and basically try and kidnap him," Talon said and Huntress turned to him, "Yes, big brain."
"Thank you!"
"See?" Huntress turned to everyone.
"No, we already saw from Day 1," Fang rolled his eyes.
PERCY JACKSON
Another Disney movie marathon. This time... Raya and the Last Dragon. Honestly! Stick with the times people! This has to be the fiercest princess I've ever seen--well, in film at least, I had to take down a princess who literally bathed in her opponent's blood. She smelled awful and looked awful, too. Does she cut her own hair with hedge clippers?!
Luckily, she's gone now. She was literally number one on my assassin list. Today, I had a day off. So I visited Planet Carnet for their 100th Annual Independence Celebration. It honestly reminded me of Hong Kong or Taiwan at night... I went there with Annabeth--no, Percy... Don't say her name. Don't even think her name. She's gone. Out of your life. You hate her.
But really, can I ever hate someone? Fates, did you really have to make it so I can't hate someone entirely?
I watched as the lights lit up the dark sky and fireworks blasted up in the stars. People were selling cotton candy along the streets. A unique kind of cotton candy. Cotton candy-covered chocolate truffles, lollipops covered in gold flakes, milk candy that was chewy in the center and hard on the outside, and their special, a mini statue made entirely out of chocolate, candy, ice cream, and edible diamonds.
Yep. Independence Day at Planet Carnet is lit. Probably because they're one of the wealthiest planets out there in the universe. And good for me, since I was the one who brought them independence, every year, they send any leftover things to me for free, and anything I want when I'm there, again, for free.
So I walked through the streets, buying things and enjoying myself. I went on the carnival ride, the Ferris wheel, the rock-climbing wall, and saw their parade. All was swell until... I saw another cloaked figure at the party. And it didn't look like it was someone I should be seen by. But again, I did want to know who they were. So I waked out of the crowd, into the alleyway, and melted into the shadows.
"I see him!" I heard the cloaked figure hiss, "He's at the Carnet Independence Parade!"
It was a familiar female voice.
"Well done, Huntress. We'll be there in about... now!"
And there were literally eight other people standing around her. One of them? Chaos. I knew he was after me!
"It makes sense why he's here! This place is full of luxury!" a familiar male voice said.
"He also brought this place independence, dummy," another familiar female voice sighed, punching the dude's arm.
"Ouch! Shadow!"
"Talon!" 'Shadow' mockingly replied.
"Be on the lookout! Huntress, where did you see him?" another familiar female asked.
"Gods dammit, Heart! I forgot to report the message in silence! He probably heard me."
That's when I saw Shadow... well... slip into the shadows, where I was--oh shit. I felt something yank my arm and I was suddenly standing right next to all nine of the figures.
"Chaos! Fancy meeting you here, today! Are you here to eat all the golden truffles like you did last year?"
"How'd you--"
"I come here every year," I shrugged, "it's my way of saying 'hey, gimme food'."
I heard the clank of chains and felt my wrists being bound together.
"You're coming with me," Chaos said, "Whether you like it or not."
"Jeez... harsh much?"
"Shoot! Guys, we left our weapons over there... don't move, Thalost."
"Oh... sure... I mean... I'm chained up. How am I supposed to move?"
The moment they were gone, I quickly melted the chains.
"Stupid people," I chuckled and ran through into the crowd.
HEART
We all raced back and the moment we saw the chains on the floor, Huntress gasped.
"Impossible! He escaped!"
"Come on! He's bound to be here, still! We still can find him."
"There!" Flame said, pointing at the cloaked figure calmly eating a golden chocolate truffle.
We all charged towards him and the moment he saw us coming, he ran.
"Shadow! Shadow-travel to him!"
Shadow did as I asked and the moment Shadow had him surrounded, guarding him from the shadows, we had formed a barrier.
"Nice try, but you're coming with us," Fang said.
"Or... am I?" Thalost smirked and jumped straight into the bonfire. "BYE!"
And he was gone.
"Did he just... kill himself?" Talon whispered.
Chaos groaned.
"No... he can also travel through fire..."
