PERCY JACKSON

I reviewed my schedule for today. I hadn't gotten out of the Chaos cabin since the incident yesterday night at dinner, mainly staying in the cabin, where I basically turned into a fighting machine. I trained, forgetting to eat food most of the time, filling out important paperwork, making sure everything was going smooth on Planet Origin, and coming up with a training and battle plan.

I slashed at a dummy, slicing the holographic head clean off before another charged. I quickly delivered a punch to its stomach as it tried to lunge on top of me, causing it to double over, and I leaped on its back, stabbing its neck with my sword. Then, an army.

I slashed through all of them as fast as I could before the second wave came. Beads of sweat poured down my face as an hour of straight on fighting waves and waves of holographic armies passed. When I finished the last wave, I tackled a big hologram to the floor, ruthlessly stabbing its heart and decapitating another behind me, stabbing one to the side as it lunged for me.

I heard the door open and I immediately had my swords unsheathed, whipping around to face the door, my battle senses kicking in.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" It was Zoë. "No need to raise any weapons, Captain Perce."

I sighed in relief, turning the machine off. I grabbed a small towel for my sweat and draped it on my neck, leaning on my sword.

"What's the prob?" I asked casually, watching Pini roll out of the shadows, jumping on my shoulder and licking my cheek.

I say we ship her off to Puerto Rico, Pini said in my head.

No, we're not shipping my Section 3 Commander to Puerto Rico! I said back.

Can we consider shipping Luke to Zimbabwe?

IN the country, Pini.

Can we ship Luke to Catalina Island?

I said nothing back.

Can we?

I'll consider it.

"Well," Zoë sighed, "I was gonna say it's breakfast, and you need to go eat something."

"NOOO!" I yelled, as she dragged me across the camp grounds. "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO F**KING BREAKFAST! I NEED TO F**KING TRAIN!"

"YOU'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR F**KING THREE HOURS! AND LANGUAGE!" Zoë slapped me as she dragged me.

I sighed, getting my composure up as the mess hall doors opened and Zoë dragged me in.

"At least let me do some paperwork while I eat? Or sword fight while I eat? Zoë--"

Everyone flinched and Zoë narrowed her eyes. I met her gaze with an eyebrow raised.

"You are going to sit down and eat."

"But--"

Zoë slapped me again.

"No buts, Thalost."

"No."

"But--"

"No buts, Zoë," I retorted and stood up. "Nice try, Zoë."

I shadow-traveled out and walked in the cabin kitchen, grabbing a glass of milk and a box of Oreo cookies, and walking over to my training room. I dipped a cookie in the milk and began to train again.

ANNABETH CHASE

As I stared at the commanders, I expected some sort of 'sorry for him' or a 'he's cranky' or a 'it's all gonna be okay' from them, but they simply sat down and began to eat, glancing at us all the way, which made my skin itch from anticipation.

Were they talking about us?

Were they talking about me?

Were they talking about how we were going to lose the war?

Were they talking about... Percy?

"Thalost," Piper corrected and I whirled around to face her. "Percy wants us to call him Thalost."

"Oh... right..." I said, embarrassed that I had been murmuring my thoughts to myself all along.

"I know you're sad, Annabeth," Piper sighed, "I am, too... but if we want Percy back, we need to stay strong." She paused. "I mean... I mean Thalost. Yeah. If we want Thalost back, we need to stay strong."

"I get it, Pipes," I sighed, spooning my oatmeal. "I'm not in the mood for eating. I think I'm just gonna go to my cabin.

I walked into the Poseidon cabin, which technically wasn't my cabin and was still swarming with Poseidon campers--yes, he had more children--but there was still Percy's bed. And Percy's bed was vacant as an honorary landmark for him. So now he was here. A completely different person. And all I could say was... we did it to him.

I sat, furrowing my brows. I was going through training plans.

"We could divide them up in nine groups..." I murmured under my breath, "That seems most efficient."

But my memories came back and I stared, realizing how the training had to go. By command. And I'd have to train the people I didn't want to see again in my life. I started to cross off the idea, but then, I realized that I didn't have to train them. I could supervise. So I stuck to that plan.

Luke and Ethan were sword fighting, Zoë, Bianca, and Lee were archery, Silena was daggers, Beckendorf was teaching how to use newly forged weapons, and Micheal was medical training for all campers.

Who-da-thought Percy Jackson would be a supervisor? Heck, I couldn't even do yard duty at Goode High School! I literally caused a road accident when I forgot to tell a car to stop and it ran over a tiny kid on a pink bike. Luckily, that little girl didn't break anything, she was just crying because she was scared.

So I circled that idea, then began to review the necessary skills to take down Order. But... I didn't even know Order. How was I supposed to know what skills I needed to learn if I wasn't even in close relation to Order? Well, she was my aunt. Of course I was supposed to know stuff about her... but I hadn't even met her before! She probably didn't even know I was her nephew! The closest I had gotten to her were the spies from Planet Earth, but Order was smart. She didn't let anyone but her close friends enter her inner ranks to be commanders of her army.

If I wanted to know Order... I had to penetrate that inner circle first.
