Chapter 18

26 ~~WORLD UNITY FESTIVAL-EVENING~~ 26

The World Unity Festival is located in Times Square and is filled with people and floats; very similar to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

A band is performing on stage while people walk around.

Peter is walking around, taking pictures with his camera.

He goes to take a picture and waits for his camera to go into focus.

The picture is of a Daily Bugle newspaper that talks about Spider-Man and Lizard-Girl in a negative way.

Peter realizes this and doesn't take the picture.

Suddenly, y/n pops into the camera frame.

Peter looks up from his camera and smiles.

PETER
Hey, I was wondering when you were gonna show up.

Y/n chuckles.

Y/N
Yeah, sorry for the wait. My mom was worried about where I was going.

PETER
Oh. So, how do you like it?

Y/N
It's pretty neat so far, but I'm still waiting for that picture, Parker.

PETER
Oh yeah, right.

Peter puts the camera back to his face.

He waits for the camera to go into focus.

He takes a picture of y/n smiling.

Y/N
How does it look?

PETER
It looks great, you look great. Wait, shouldn't I be asking you that?

Y/n laughs.

Y/N
I already know that your photographs are amazing, I just wanted to know how you thought it turned out. Especially since I'm in it.

PETER
What? You being in it makes it even better.

Y/n chuckles and looks at the ground.

She looks back up at Peter with a wide grin.

Y/N
I think it's time the photographer steps from behind the camera, to in front of it, don't you?

PETER
Oh no, the photographer is fine right where he is.

Y/N
You're not getting away that easily, Parker.

Y/n lunges for Peter's camera and they start wrestling with it. 

Y/n manages to start pulling it over his head, but Peter is still putting up a fight.

However, he looks through the frame of the camera and sees Harry and Mary Jane talking on the balcony of the building in front of him and y/n.

Peter begins frowning and stops putting up a fight.

Y/n gets the camera off of him and puts the strap over her neck.

She holds up the camera, still smiling.

Y/N
Haha, looks like I'll be taking your picture after all. Say picture time!

Y/n puts the camera up to her face and waits for the camera to go into focus.

She goes to take the picture, but notices that Peter is frowning and is looking at the balcony in front of them.

She puts the camera down and looks at where he's looking.

She spots Harry and Mary Jane.

She notices Harry look down and it appears as if he gazes right at Peter and y/n.
