I've told you the Epic Tale
of Nick Nightingale
and the inner fight
of dear young Clyde.

If you loved those stories, hold on tight
for The Plight of Summer Night.

Our story starts not so long ago
and in a pub not far from here.

Summer Night is our hero
and hunting was her dear.

She had hunted almost everything,
but she still not had enough...

Looking for a new challenge
she eavesdropped.

She heard three men talking
about a creature to her unknown.

It was said to be Untouchable.

Yet it had touched a lot of people
and infected them with wings.

Its victims lived on Cloud 9 ever since.

This creature has to be caged!
Summer thought outraged.

She grabbed her bag and out she went
for a journey over sea and land.

But everywhere she was too late.
Slowly, her Soul filled with hate.

She needed a new plan and quick,
so she called her best friend Mick.

"Michaela," she said,
"it once again fled.

But now I know
I can't do this solo.

The creature attacks
only humans in packs.

So come here fast.
I want to catch it at last."

The women arrived at the scene
where the creature was last seen.

The creature walked right in their trap.
Summer Night, oh, she was so glad!

But there was something
she didn't know.
The creature had hit Mick
with its arrow...

When they celebrated with desert,
feathers peeped from under her shirt.

Mick tried to hide her growing wings,
but the poison played her heartstrings.

No longer being able to sustain it all,
Mick ran into the hall.

Summer followed her on the foot.
When she saw the wings, she yelled:
"Not good!"

Mick gave her a knife,
said: "Cut it off!"

"No!"

"Yes, it's my Life!
I want it rid off."

Summer smiled sadly:
"Cutting will not do.
It will only hurt
and I won't hurt you."

"How would you know?! We haven't yet tried."

Summer showed her own wings,
once purely white, but now...
blood dyed.

"Even the sharpest knife
won't do the trick.
Please believe me
when I say this, Mick.

I've cut and plucked,
but it won't destruct.

These wounds won't ever heal.
This pain is way too real.

I wanted to catch the monster
that gave me these things,
but I never wanted you
to also end up with wings.

Know that together we'll get through,
'cause I believe in me
and I'll always believe in you."

Mick let out a cry.
"What happened? When and why?"

"It happened on the day we met.
Oh no, there's not a thing I regret.

They grew every time we spoke.
No, there is no antidote.

But maybe the monster can reverse
this outspoken curse..."

When they showed the creature Summer's wings,
it asked: "Why would you do such things?!

Those wings are meant to give you joy,
but all you do, is destroy.

No, your wings are not for me to heal,
but I will sign another deal."

The creature explained its idea
and the women soon set it free.

It continued to give people wings,
and its poison played their heartstrings.

But the wings were now attached to the Soul,
'cause the body didn't have them under control.

The creature also slipped a note under Summer's door.

I will say this and nothing more:
To reverse the curse, you have to change your view.
I can't do that. It's up to you.

See my gift as a blessing
and just stop stressing.

The creature signed its note with Cupid.

Summer first thought the advice was stupid,
but soon she realized the truth:

Love had never felt so good
thanks to all her friends.

This is where our story ends.

Know that Love can both be a blessing and a curse.
But when your Soul is wounded, you won't find a better nurse.
