Let me tell you about the day
Autumn May realized
she wasn't a she but they.It was the day family May went to the sea.
It was the day Autumn realized:
"a she is not me".Just like every other day,
that day started
black, white and gray,
for dear sheltered
Autumn May.But soon the streets filled with a song
and rainbow colours came along
showing love can't be wrong
and teaching about genders,
in every shape and size,
as defenders,
true allies,
celebrating
all that is right
and shining a light
in Autumn's dark life. But the rest of the family didn't like what was seen,
never realizing Autumn was in-between.They took their child's hand
and guided "her" away,
not knowing she
identified as they.Ever since that day, Autumn's life is no longer only gray:
between the black, gray and white,
now is a green shining bright. So don't hate on what
you don't understand,
you might be daily
holding their hand.
