Ahsoka groggily woke up after hours of sleep which had been the most that she had gotten in a long time. She forced herself away from the warmth of her covers to get ready for the day. There was a ruckus coming from the kitchen so she decided to see who else was up.
Satine sat at the kitchen island as Obi Wan fixed his famous ronto morning wrap.
" Obi, how long do you plan to stay here?"
" Already trying to get rid of me?" he said, placing the dish on the table, sitting down across from the duchess. " I don't know. It depends on where things lead from here. As much as I would love to stay, the galaxy needs help fighting back against the rising empire." his tone changed from joking to serious.
" Now that there are no more sides as the war has ended, helping your rebellion has entered my mind...however, Mandalore comes first. I want to do what's best for my people."
" I understand. Letting us stay here is already more than I could ask for." Obi Wan got up from the table.
Ahsoka stumbled into the kitchen, wiping the tiredness from her eyes.
" Good morning." Satine greeted the teen.
Ahsoka smiled, sitting down at the table next to her.
" Good morning Duchess."
" Please, just call me Satine. No need for titles." she smiled at the Togruta, who nodded.
" Ahsoka, I'm surprised you're up so early." another voice came from behind the door of the refrigerator.
" Oh, Master Kenobi. I didn't know you were here too." Ahsoka laughed.
" Would you like something to drink?" the older master asked his grandpadawan.
" Uh, sure. Any blue milk?"
Obi Wan brought out the pitcher and poured her a glass which Ahsoka graciously took.
" I see that Anakin and Padme still aren't awake yet." he shook his head. Of course they weren't.
" For Skyguy that seems normal." Ahsoka smirked. Most of the time she was always up before her master. She considered it an accomplishment as she was rarely late to briefings unlike him.
" Well, no point in waking them I suppose." the ginger sat back down. " You know I was thinking that-"
" Anakin!" a loud shout cut Obi Wan off.
Padme rushed into the kitchen, panic written on her face.
" Padme, what's wrong." Satine asked her friend with concern.
" It's Anakin, he's gone."
Ahsoka and her exchanged looks, both knowing where he probably was. Obi Wan and Satine sat staring as Ahsoka jumped to her feet.
" I should have known he would do something like this!" she growled. " I'm going to the barracks and when I come back one of us is going to need a med kit." and with that she slammed the door to the apartment.
" Skywalker seems like a handful." Satine said, taking a bite of her food.
" Indeed. Anakin probably did something stupid. Nothing out of the usual." Obi Wan agreed, sipping his tea.
" So Padme, care to fill us in?"
Rex glanced at the door while dodging another attack. The second he saw the opening he ran. He didn't care if his superior officer was yelling at him to stop, he kept running.
By now, the rest of his brothers were up. Rex weaved through the crowd of clones to get to the front door.
" Whoa, Rex where you going?" Jesse called after him.
The trooper didn't look back.
" Captain!" an angry voice echoed down the hall, making multiple, if not all clones turn their heads to see their general chasing after the captain.
" Run Rex!" Fives hollered at his brother with a large smile plastered on his face.
" What do you think I'm doing?!" Rex snapped, pushing through the door. He bolted down the sidewalk, making random turns to try and throw off the rampaging Jedi.
" Great, what did I get myself into." he grumbled as he skidded to a stop to catch his breath.
He found himself in an alley next to a dumpster which he took cover behind.
" Ahsoka?" he asked into his comm.
" Rex! Are you okay?" she responded back immediately.
" If you call the general trying to kill me okay, then yes, I'm perfectly fine."
" Alright, alright. Send me your location. I'll be there shortly. Oh and Rex...he can sense your force signature, so be careful."
" Wait-what!?" there was another reason to hate his new ability. " Ahsoka! You can't just say that and leave." the comm didn't answer back.
Rex sighed. He guessed that the best thing to do was to keep moving. There was a cantina just down the street so he decided to spend a few minutes there.
He sat down at one of the booths in the corner to think about his options. He had to stay somewhere in the area so Ahsoka knew where to find him, but he also had to attempt not to alert his general of his presence.
" Why me." he muttered, placing his head in his hands. Finding that he should go back to where he was in case Ahsoka was there, he started to get up until something caught his eye.
Sitting at another table was a hooded stranger holding a hologram with his face on it.
