I wake up, and I stare at the ceiling for a few seconds, allowing my mind to also wake up.

As soon as I remember Harry falling asleep last night, holding me, I stretch my arm out over the bed, to feel if he is still there, he isn't, all that's left is the imprint of the memory of him. I hate to admit that I am a little disappointed that his body is no longer next to mine.

I find myself smiling when I remember how I felt last night, running my fingers through his hair as he held me by my waist. Something I could never get over is how my skin starts to burn when he touches me. Everything in me becomes weak, and I can't think properly.

I leave my room, hoping to find Harry somewhere in the apartment, but he isn't here. I guess he left for work.

Matteo came over to make me breakfast. He made me a delicious omelet with bacon and cheese and tomato. I made us coffee and we chatted until he eventually had to leave again.

I put on my lifeguard outfit and headed up to the pool. It was stacked today, apparently, Niall invited random people over again to come party with him, so they're spending the day up here.

"Lila!" Niall shouts and he waves his hand in the air, signaling for me to go over to him. I haven't seen him since Friday, so I'm excited to catch up with him. I genuinely consider him a friend, sure sometimes he gives me eyes that might mean something else, but who is Niall without his flirty personality, and I'd be lying to say I minded it.

I take off my top, and jump in the pool, swimming over to him. "Hey, stranger," I swing my arms around his neck, and our bodies squeeze together. "How'd it go with the girl?"

"Not too bad I think." He raises his eyebrows in a smirk.

"Yeah?"

"Well, we fucked so I'm guessing it's going well."

"And then?" I nudge his shoulder.

"And then nothing, what more could there be?" His tone is so oblivious, and it reminds me that I am actually still dealing with a frat, slash fuckboy.

"Didn't you take her to dinner, or go on a walk or buy her coffee?"

He looks at me like I just uttered the least logical words he'd ever heard. "Why would I do that ?"

"Fuck sakes Niall, do you actually like this girl, or was this a one-time thing?"

"Obviously I fuckin' like her, Lila!"

"Well, she probably feels like shit now! You better call her, you dumbass!" I can't help but giggle.

"Yeah okay, I will. You're coming tonight, right?" He nods towards all his new friends.

"I dunno I'll see," I shrug, scanning the group of people.

"You've got to come!" He grabs my shoulders and shakes me back and forth.

"Yeah maybe," I push his arms off me and we move to the group of people.

We play volleyball again, but this time Niall makes sure that I'm nowhere near an edge, to avoid me cracking my skull open again. We all spent the rest of the day having fun and hanging out together.

I got home late in the afternoon and decided to go on a run. I ran along the beach, taking in the beautiful view of the sunset. Running really helps me clear my mind. Everything around me looks so magical right now illuminated by the orange glow of the sunset.

I'm a little unfit so it's harder than usual to keep my pace and I feel like there is a lack of oxygen in my lungs, but the feeling afterward is amazing so I try my best to ignore the fact that I'm dying.
