"I can make you feel so good, Delilah." He whispers in my ear and his teeth nibbling on my earlobe sends a shiver through me. I get tingles all over my skin.
"That's the problem, I can't trust this Harry, cause if it seems too good to be true, it us...
Over the past couple of days, Harry has been coming to the penthouse, trying to make amends, I guess. Unfortunately for him, I've not been having it. As soon as he walks through the doors, I make up an excuse and I bolt. Like I've said before, when I'm around him I have no control. And I can risk having what happened on the roof, happen again. You can't just kiss someone like that and have no feelings appear, and I really can't develop any more feelings for him.
As I predicted he's here again today. Just as I'm about to enjoy my lovely breakfast cooked up by Matteo, he struts in through the doors. Although I don't like Harry, I have to give him props for his effort.
"Before you run out of here, I have something important to ask you." He announces.
"I'll be on my way then," Matteo says and he leaves after saying goodbye.
Harry comes and sits next to me. He doesn't speak right away though. His head is down and he is picking at his nailbeds, he is nervous.
"What is it?" I ask taking a bite of my french toast.
"I know you hate me, but do you think you could ignore that just for today." His voice is low.
"Okay, say I do, what do you have to ask me then?"
"I want you to come meet my mum." He looks down again.
"Harry, if this is just a stunt to get me to forgive you, I'm not doing it." I protest.
"It's not Li..." He looks up at me and there is sadness behind his eyes. He swallows before he speaks. "She's dying... and I want her you meet you before, you know." This voice cracks at the first few words.
It physically pains me to see him like this, I can't begin to imagine how hard this must be. "No ulterior motives?"
He shakes his head. I honestly think he's being truthful, his mom is a serious topic and I don't think he'd joke around about it.
"Alright, let me just get dressed then we can go."
I know what I said, but if his mom doesn't have much time left, it would make me a terrible person not to do this for him. If this is something that's important to him, I guess for one day we can put our problems aside. Why he wants me to meet her though, I'm not sure.
I slip on a plain white dress, and I brush through my hair, leaving it down.

"Ready?" I ask him when I get downstairs. He nods and then we walk out together.
Seeing him like this makes me nervous. He isn't speaking so this has to be serious, and he is very pale.
"Harry are you okay?" I ask him when we're in the elevator. I can see he is struggling within himself to find the right words. There is no need though, I get it. I gently place my hand on his back, just to see how he reacts to it. He doesn't object, so I make use of the opportunity and I throw my other arm around him, pulling him into a tight hug.
