Games day 1

Kiwi River's P.O.V

They dressed me in black tight, but comfortable pants. My light green t-shirt has a kiwi on it, I gave my designer a hug and she gave me a fluffy but light hoodie with a rainbow pin of a bunny clipped onto the front. Im glad the clothes aren't really warm or cold. That means that there won't be extreme weather.
The glass tube sits in front of me, I am so scared. There are 3 peacekeepers in here with me, they push my designer out of the room and gesture towards the tube.
I step in and wait.

Abby Bradley's P.O.V

The glass tube rises, I wonder how far away my sister is from me.
At first the light is blinding, then the black dots fade and everything is clear. In the middle with the cornucopia it looks nice, sunshine and flowers. Then as the arena goes out it gets darker and darker. In one corner I can see some mountains and next to it a big lake, hopefully that is fresh water. I glance over to my sister and nod towards a closed off place in the forrest part that has dim lighting.
The speakers began to click, I could tell everything was about to start.
"Welcome tributes to the 175 annual hunger games, I do hope you like the arena. May the odds be ever in your favour." The speakers clicked again and a much deeper, louder voice came on.

30 seconds

Oh god I hope nobody has pinned my alliance as a target.

20 seconds

I look for a pack that is far away from the sections where the blood bath will be strongest

10 seconds

I hear an explosion from the other side, somebody must have stepped off too early, one dead and the games haven't even started

5 seconds

Get ready

3...2...1 A loud bell sounds from the sky and I run.

Maybelle Woods P.O.V

I gather as much as I can, I can't believe I actually went to centre of the cornucopia. Nobody is coming near me, good. That means they are scared of me. I grab an axe and some other big weapons and also 2 backpacks, they are heavy which means that they have lots of good supplies. I shove the packs onto my shoulders and get ready to kill, I seek for the weak people who are older. I don't feel like killing any kids. Yet.
I go for the suicidal kid, he looked extra sad today. Clean slice, his blood sprayed across my black pants. I move on to the next person and then joined my alliance who are beating up the guy from district 10. I hear 4 cannons, wow only 4. The capital won't be happy with that. I travel over to the other side of the cornucopia and see a girl named Flower choking somebody, she them stabbed his eyes out and shoved them down his throat. Wow, what a nice start to the games.
